I can only offer that much of their revenue flows from parts/after sales. Essential to maintain operations of customers even in recessions. Someone else may offer you more insight

I find this company's relative immunity to the general market woes interesting as well as encouraging. Does anyone have a particular insight into the rationale?

Cannot understand why the shares dipped to approx 100p recently. Some must be regretting selling them at that price.

I thought the results were satisfactory considering the backdrop for the past couple of years. It is good to note that the BOD are confident about sales and margins going forward which if achieved will give an increase in profits and eps

Firstly Flotech (sic) is an ENTIRELY different business. Worrying if people posting can't correctly identify the Company they are purporting to discuss.
The statement is simply a re-hash of previous ones, jam tomorrow. I also worry about the speculation about 180-200p that has been stated here ad nauseum. It will happen, for 2 shares !!.
Get out above 115p buy at 98p

Given that the co generates cash, I thought the statement that dividends had low priority was a bit disappointing. That said and although I am not a chartist, the chart looks interesting with the recent downtrend broken and a possible head and shoulders reversal. That could push the shares to the brokers targets of 180 to 200p. If management can get the e-commerce right, that could increase market share and therefore generate higher revenues and therefore EPS that currently being projected. So possible decent upside.

Good summary. I would add:
- Flotech Fluidpower (and its competitors) have a resilient business. The big downturns in some other sectors caused by Brexit, COVID and Putin have not been seen in Flotech's line of business.
- Plenty of addressable market out there, both in the UK and longer term in Europe.

Presentation salient points:
- They are seeing encouraging signs: Q4 2021 was decently above Q4 2019, so back to growth.
- They are now "recovered" from the COVID downturn
- Debt increase has been largely investment in inventory of £8.5m - they took £9m out of inventory during COVID. There is a debt bridge in what they presented. They see debt coming down again in future.
- Cash generated from operations was £8.0m
- Still £10m of headroom under banking facilities at year end
- Divisionally, they were a bit disappointed by Services, but expecting return to a 5% margin - 2021 revenue was £17.4m, so that would be an uplift in margin of £0.7m. They said in answer to a question that business was delayed but not lost by the supply chain issues in 2021
- the 5 Flowtech brands are now transitioned to 1 - Flowtech and are now on a unified IT system
- 2022 brings unification of the Fluidpower brands. The online brand is going to be a couple of weeks late, but sounds like early Q2, rather than the Q1 planned. 55,000 SKUs will become 125,000
- Flowtech and Fluidpower businesses will have a single product file
- The unification of customer databases enables a lot better marketing/sales, integrated Email marketing SEO, with an AI element
- Re acquisitions: they are much more focussed on orgainic growth
Overall quietly positive

"2022 expected to be the year in which the business demonstrates a full recovery and delivers growth compared to pre COVID-19. Encouraging start to the year, with revenue and gross margin ahead of expectations"

I did warn you guys late last year and also twice in Jan (see my posts on this site) when you were all going crazy saying £ 2 in sight. Some of you were quite scathing, but events now reflect my dire warning to you. The shares are now 14% approx below their end of 1st day trading 2014 fully 8 years ago. The good news is my analysis shows they bottom out at 75.5p
Please take the tip next time, I don't get much pleasure in always being right.
