just posted my thoughts on Mels thread..having bought at 45p and then 30p I have just broken even today but will continue to hold till 47p at least.

you will only know after the event (perhaps L2 might help if you have it). Recent trends indicate we are moving forwards so I remain optimistic as to any behind the scenes moves.

We are moving today 38-42p +1.50p, though no volume yet, most likely a large buy delayed.

Very calm here today, just like the MMs, keeping a large spread as all are at the same price, maybe waiting for news from this weekend newspapers, about the next move by Paul Fullager.

The whole financial software sector appears to be going through the mix at the minute.

Marlborough,Sherwood,Financial Objects,Raft

Obviously some products are must haves and will be picked off by those with cash. The hot area at the moment IMHO has to be corporate governance/risk management and that means the products implemented by Raft (RFT). Company has never lost a customer and has been winning new contracts and forming new partnerships of late.

I will continue to watch FIO but prefer the product offering from RFT.

Directors' dealings

FINANCIAL OBJECTS, the banking software provider, put on 2½p at 35p as Paul Fullager, better known as a non-executive at Staffware and Marlborough Stirling, declared the purchase of 555,000 shares, taking his interest to 5 per cent. The company gave warning on profits last month after slow sales of its ActiveBank system, while the founder, Roger Foster, last week reassumed a larger role as acting chief executive.

Are you sure he's CEO at Staffware ? Article isn't specific.

Should still be very good news and I agree it will generate lots of potential rumours/interest from now on....should be good for FIO whatever happens next.

The marked up was too fast as all MMs went to the same price, now KLWT is back at the offer at 40p, the only one next 42p, 3 on the BID 37p

Yesterday Staffware fullagar bought 5% of FIO

I went through the thread, and had noticed that the ones complaining about me not posting were people that never posted before- day-dreamer / enormouswillie /mrjingles all being caught with their knickers down a few times, no wonder they wanted an urgent reply from me.

I did not want them to have that pleasure, anyway the news were there, nothing for me to add, unless they want me to be their mummy and put it at their mouth.

As you can see the cash still there 29p, that give support to the share price up to 30p, plus the company business in for nothing, ActiveBank is a money spinner, though the sales to clients have been slow, the cost cuts implemented last year has put cost base much lower so the cash is intact.
A new sales director has been appointed, maybe that will do the trick for the sales.

So what should we make of the doubling of holdings to 5% or 1.38M by Paul G Fullger and Ferlim Nominees F612 following buy of 550k on 7 July. Anyone know anything about Mr Fullger or Ferlim ?

Got to be good news I would have thought and is it connected with the recent Board changes ?
