ISSUE OF EQUITY

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of antennas, filters and mmWave products for the wireless telecoms and critical communications markets, announces that the Company has issued 550,956 new Ordinary Shares 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") as a result of an exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Plan.

Application has been made for the 550,956 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that the dealings in these new Ordinary Shares will commence on 24 September 2019. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

Following Admission, the Company will have in issue a total of 209,548,767 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.
