Leadership Team appointments
Strengthened team to underpin strong growth trajectory and strategic plans
Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of products for the aerospace, defence, space and telecoms infrastructure markets, announces two senior appointments to its leadership team, further strengthening the Company as it continues its growth trajectory.
David Marshall has been appointed as Director of Programmes, while Sarah Shaw joins as General Counsel. These appointments follow the recent addition of Antonino Spatola as Chief Commercial Officer, consolidating a leadership team with significant industry expertise to support Filtronic's ambitious strategic plans.
Global manufacturing experience
David Marshall brings extensive experience to his role as Director of Programmes. He will oversee Filtronic's portfolio of critical projects, ensuring the delivery of strategic goals while supporting the growing demand from key sectors such as Defence and Space. David previously held senior positions at Leonardo, most recently serving as Vice President, Typhoon Radar Development.
Sarah Shaw, as General Counsel, will lead the Company's legal affairs, with a focus on managing major commercial contracts and legal strategies. Sarah brings a proven track record in delivering complex commercial agreements and joins from Teledyne.

This move will double the Company's operational footprint at its main UK site, facilitating a significant expansion in both capability and capacity.
The new site will feature advanced cleanroom areas, engineering laboratories, and testing facilities, reinforcing Filtronic's commitment to growth and innovation.
