Certification for starlink on eu reg aircraft is well under way. Air baltic have completed approval flight for the smaller airbus. Most decent airlines will be retrofitting this year. All good. |

The upgrades from Edison are quite punchy. Between December and today the 2 trading updates have seen revenue rise from £39.9m to £48.8m, EBITDA from £9.3m to £13.7m and margins from 18.6% to 24.5%, while next year's expectations are unchanged.But that margin expansion is key: the extra 5.1m of revenue added today translates to £2.5m of EBITDA. Edison forecasts via LSE illustrate the conundrum on this one - 24/25 forecast revenues up 11% on earlier figures, EBITDA forecasts up double that. 25/26 forecast revenues are unchanged but expected to fall vs 24/25 (but we kind of expect that to build) but forecast eps have been reduced as tax losses used up quicker - in my book, not a bad thing but share prices tend to not necessarily like that. Finger in the air stuff. |

Surprised that after 2 trading updates the share price is only 20% up on the summer peaks. Results in 3 weeks so should get more colour then and I'd expect contract news at some point too |

My take is that they are trying to under promise and over deliver. With the Sedgefield site expanded, a new site in Cambridge and multiple job opportunities on LinkedIn, all the signs are that business is strong. I suspect defence is doing really well but they don't want to talk about it. |

Difficult to know the size of the upgrade as statement doesn’t use the accepted code words of “slightly̶1; or “materially221;. Given the previous statement referenced pull forward of next year’s orders, the real key is actually filling the order book for 25/26.
