It's not a serious site. Most peeps on it are just Punters who haven't got a clue wot they are talking about and most of them seem to be illiterate, to boot. They wudn't know a Jorc report if it hit them in the face.

Shudn't worry about it.

IMHO.

Black/ Tilly , you may both be right !

Just trying to maintain some unbiased balance on here, as I don' know wot is going to happen.

As regards Brexit, that is why JT is keeping the Company as an Australian Company, primarily listed on the Asx. Aim is just a secondary listing, despite having most of the current volume. There is a lot of Youth Unemployment in Galicia and as far as I am aware, no major Companies Exploring or Mining for Zinc in NW Spain at present. BKY are about to open a Uranium Mine further South at Salamanca though, for which they have received excellent support from the Spanish Govt. BKY also had 25,000 applications for 200 jobs recently advertised, so you can see the extent of the unemployment problem.

My guess, however, is that it will be a combination of Spanish Grants and either Boliden or Lundin coming up with the goods, IF the Toral deposit can be proven to be economically viable.

I also think JT WILL put his own money in eventually as well, but only time will tell.

My posts are instantly removed from LSE now.
Someone doesnt like people questioning why JT or the BOD don't buy.
That in itself speaks volumes. Big brother is watching you :-) You question my pessimism here ? look at the SP, look at the chart, look at people like Tilly a major investors here at.2p...dont take my word for it.
Show me a green shoot and i will gladly review my stance :-)

but would the Spanish government be willing to finance a private industry with billions of shares in issue. and would the EU let them under competition rules ?

So who are the bigger players ?

Lundin, Boliden, Glencore, Vedanta, Beaufort Securities, Shore Capital, Cantor Fitzgerald ?

As Black rightly says, really, the main issue is mine construction & funding - but I'm beginning to get a water feeling that I know where that might conveivably come from. The Spanish Govt. ?

I am inclined to agree tilly, on the face of it things don't look good ...but...
The progress at Toral in getting the core samples drilled and sent for assay is pretty fast by any miners standards. If you were stringing this out to keep a salary you wouldn't be going at the speed this lot are. I don't know what to make of it.
the elephant in the room will always be funding, even a JV will hardly be a JV with the partner having to put in 99% of the capital. JT is in this for some reason, i cant imagine it's for the benefit of his shareholders and he , on the face of it, will not benefit from a rise in the share price so what's his game ??

Jury is out on this one.

Hey, hopefully you Zinc guys don't mind me posting here, only came across FCR by way of the MoneyWeek Zinc article, I'm invested in BMR who have vast amounts of tailings containing Zinc, Lead and Vanadium all above ground and a they have developed a unique process to recover the metals, currently they are building a plant and aim to go into production first quarter 2018, just thought I'd mention it as you may not have been aware of BMR. Cheers

Lets face it if you were raking in £10k a month from this and had a good set of core samples and an investor lined up you would have bought a few yourself. On a scale of 1-10 for No No's on the AIM not buying into your own company rates about a 9 :-) Its the first thing possible investors look at to measure confidence in the company by the BOD. when not one person on the BOD buys one share then.......... ??

I wonder wot wud happen to share price if JT DID hav a UHNW Investor or Institution lined up to fund a mine, when Assay Results are known ?

I would think the first thing people would say would be why didnt you buy any yourself JT ?

That core sample in photo on 28th July RNS luks VERY Juicy & full of ZN/PB/AG. I wonder wot wud happen to share price if JT DID hav a UHNW Investor or Institution lined up to fund a mine, when Assay Results are known ?

Interesting to see BZT (another Ed Nealon Co) up 26% today on large and uncharacteristic volume, from being totally in the weeds for the past 6 months. It's now fully funded and going into production shortly, having skipped the PFS/DFS/BFS completely. I wonder which other Junior Mining Co, with a £3m mkt cap Company is maybe going to do that ? ..........

Food for thought.

IMHO. DYOR.

Nice to see Rajaster back, with sensible comments and Black of course, makes valid points. I agree with everything that you both say, with one exception, where, I admit, I have changed my mind since the RNS of 28th July and today:

It is clear that Merlin's model of shallow mineralisation, in a modified form, has been justified, and the drilling program stopped (sensibly in my view) to save further needless expense. Cash is a lot higher than I thought it would be, at A$500k, and shud get them half way through pre-feas study.

Looks as though the Geology is looking encouraging, but the funding of the mine (if all is validated) is always going to be the final stumbling block, and will involve either the issuing of many more shares, if the current Placing Funding model is adhered to, or giving away a substantial part of the project to either the Spanish Govt, if they give them Development Grants, or a JV partner, if they don't. The final phase of investment, from a shareholder perspective will be the key, as you don't want to be involved in the intermediate placings, only the final one.

Could FCR succeed, in becoming an AIM-Listed, producing Zn/Pb Company ? Yes, I think it could , but with a proper Executive CEO, decent PR Director and probably a major Financial Institution as a Cornerstone Backer; Therein lies the rub, Will these things happen ? I think that they will. (But this is very much my personal view).

IMHO. DYOR. GLA.

You have to wonder why they released news last week on an expensive RNS just to release the same news this week on a quarterly statement and update ?
