Looks like we might pick up a few new year bottom gamblers - cos the share price is “low”. |
Queen Victoria Hospital shortlisted for two prestigious national aw...Today 07:45 From 9th December 2024
The nominations recognise the success of their pilot project providing a straight-to-diagnostic breathlessness pathway using Feedback Medical’s Bleepa software. It has achieved significant improvements in efficiency and patient wait times.
The Bleepa software allows GPs and the multidisciplinary team at QVH to collaborate digitally for patients needing diagnostic tests as part of a breathlessness pathway. The pilot project saw a 63% reduction in patient waiting times from referral to treatment compared to the national target, significantly decreasing the number of patients waiting over six weeks.
Impressively 90% of referrals were managed without the need for in-person specialist appointments. This approach has improved patient experience and resulted in efficiency improvements which could be applied to other diagnostic pathways.
Dr Ian Francis, Deputy Medical Director at Queen Victoria Hospital, said: “We are pleased the success of the pilot programme has been recognised by the HSJ judging panel. We have had lots of interest in us sharing our best practice with others wanting to adopt similar symptom-based pathways and have presented both regionally and nationally. We are looking forward to the next stage of rolling this out to additional pathways to maximise clinical and efficiency improvements for our patients.” |
Not so sure it is a load of errors.
The duration and delivery are both estimates. The error is omitting pa after the £495k in the value. Also the specified contract date of 29 December 2028 is contrary to the previous RNS so therefore we should be getting an RNS to acknowledge that change.
Might just email TO if we don't get confirmation. |
Value 495K duration 4 years according to Bidstats, which I think is a mickey mouse load of errors.
July 24 FDBK quite clearly said: "This contract, which is worth £495,000 for an initial 12-month term with the ability to extend by another 12 months".
That is clearly annual.
The next bit of (expected) news is the March renewal of the ERF. Without that, nowt. Probably won't be announced by FDBK, so Google or one of the NHS sites is your friend.
If it doesn't renew, it will be 50/50 whether FDBK will RNS it. As there is no revenue from it yet, its not material.
If you Google 'elective recovery 24/25, it appears the guidelines for improvement in elective recovery have only just been published. So may be a few weeks before anything appears about the ERF. |
Jck, the govt has been vaunting digitalisation of the NHS, sameday referrals from CDC to consultant. Traders are taking up positions just in case fdbk are involved. |
We have an active buyer today. Some decent volume. |
Posted on LSE over the Christmas period by Investor Bill:
An earlier RNS from FDBK stated the contract was £495k per year. The contract in the link says Value £495k to end on 28th Dec 2028.
Confusion as to whether £495k in total or 495k per year.
The flurry of buying might suggest relief to see this contract but perhaps more on the way.
Yump thanks for your replies before the holiday. No wonder you are pessimistic with such reading. A couple of your comment helped my education.
Hope everyone had a good holiday. Let's hope we have a good year. |
Could be major news for FDBK and BLEEPA.
Under the changes, hundreds of thousands of patients will be able to get direct referrals for checks through their GP for conditions including breathlessness, asthma, post-menopausal bleeding, hearing loss, tinnitus, urological conditions and bowel issues, removing the need to see a consultant first. |
A little perky today. News inbound ? |
jck, "Do you agree it is an odd vacancy to post without any established business"? Have you looked at the UK operation/business model? You will find your answer there. |
If you want to ignore FDBK’s entire history and not read the various spoutings from the CEO, that’s up to you.
There’s a reason (loads actually) why the share price is a fraction of its historic value. If you think that makes it cheap then I haven’t got time to explain investing. |
'We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our team as an Integration and Customer Support Engineer. This role involves integrating with healthcare IT systems, supporting cloud-based solutions, and providing exceptional customer support. You will collaborate with healthcare IT teams of hospitals, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of Healthcare IT Standards is necessary: DICOM, HL7, IHE, FHIR, and relevant medical imaging workflows' |
Yump
Quite an immature response.. I get it that you dislike FDBK and for whatever reason you like to always post negativity.
Do you agree it is an odd vacancy to post without any established business? |
Apply for it then |
How many staff does FDBK employ in India?
Does FDBK have any current business in India?
Read post on another site that FDBK is recruiting for an Integration and Customer support engineer in India. I didn't think there was any existing business in India, so this job posting is quite interesting |
The sarcasm gets the better of me, but I would claim provocation !
Quite honestly I'm thinking of not bothering on advfn any more, because I often can't resist responding to rubbish and my time would be better spent working on my own cunning plans. |
yump, love your sarcasm. Spot on. |
Yes forget the business itself.
Any named shareholder or institution investing is always a good sign.
Oh but hang on, I’ve got a feeling some of them invested at 10x the current share price…
Must be part of a cunning plan. |
Cranston still buying is a very positive indicator. Let's hope he continues.
Also, worth remembering that all of major holders backed the placing. |
Cranston still buying. Either he knows something others don't or he's got more money than sense. |
Well at least most of us on here have given reasons for our target price, along with several years of evidence that its a lame duck.
Difficult to see any viable business here and oooh I wonder how much profit they would have to make to pay back the raises that have been spent ?
Because that's what you'd have to do if you ran this business privately. Big loan from the bank at a big interest rate, with the BOD's houses as security.
Clearly if the ERF does not get renewed in March '25, then any agreements mentioned as being likely then, will be worth diddly squat.
All we've heard is that there have been 'conversations' about the ERF that indicated it is likely to carry on.
I'd like a 'conversation' with Walter. |
Good luck with that Jck there will be a move up as we approach April and Walter gives the nod and wink to upcoming contracts and FDBK taking over the running of the NHS. After that? Penny share and a consolidation? |
I am expecting FDBK to make an explosive move during q125. I'm expecting 75p plus in short order |
