I'm not at all bothered that Jim has £850m, good luck to him. Lorne Abony has a few quid in his various bank accounts and also a few dollars invested in FFWD. One thing that he has stated from the word go is that he is trying to provide private investors with an opportunity to invest in companies that they wouldn't normally have opportunities to invest in. Okay, so we have taken the opportunity and thank you very much - sometime soon he needs to deliver. Just my opinion.

Jim Mellon is busy writing another book at the moment about how people are going to be living until they are aged 164. Jim, I really don't want to wait until I'm 164 for this share price to take off into the stratosphere!!

The question is now that our BoD have spent all the existing cash in the bank, how is the company going to fund any further investments? The last Placing was at 15p, so I can't see a further placing on the cards with the share price where it is at the moment. One of the existing Investee Companies surely has to be monetised?

think your right DB, i still have confidence in ffwd and i think its going to be lorne abony investments since he took over will take us forward, id saying he,s in the middle of clearing the decks if you follow, ok off for a pint lol

I agree monkeymonkey - we appreciate that, but it's obvious some buyers don't and then they complain when the share price goes down!:-) I think some people buy into this share without doing any proper research.

but that was always the case with ffwd and still is, we might get news on leap then its a sit and wait job again, thats the kind of company we,ve choose to invest in,

The waiting game again flash, meanwhile I suspect some shareholders are becoming fed up waiting for some news which will provide a positive surge in the share price. Gone are the days when shareholders used to put their share certificates in a drawer for a few years and forget about them!!

Thanks db. Been able to monitor things sporadically but yes, nothing much changed. Now I guess we wait for the Leap IPO.

just back in to see this, looks like just another investment by taking stakes in other companies, which may also pay off, as we can see its not mind blowing as we can tell with the share price reaction but with the seller around no more than expected really, but at least ffwd haven,t lost money so thats good, i think yooya, leap, nuuvera and moon will be all good investments and take ffwd to the next level, well thats my take, best of luck all

Between them, they bought over 300,000 Lingo shares in the days following the earnings release, ploughing more than US$60,000 of their own cash into the business in the process.

Looking like we make a very small profit in the Schoold investment, least it's not a loss, could be more once the deal is completed IMO
