As is often the case people who have a difficult childhood often go on to have incredible drive and competitiveness to achieve. I can't but help admire people like this. I'm very excited about FFWD. I hope to have a top up soon as well.

I don't know if Lorne has a big ego, he certainly wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth and was brought up in difficult family circumstances, so I admire him for making a success of his life. As you say, it will be interesting to see exactly where he is taking this company and I suspect the next few months will give us a clearer indication.

It will be very interesting to see what investments Lorne Abbey makes after FFWD starts making some real money. I can bet he already has his eyes on something.
The guy has a big ego, nothing wrong with that at all, and is very ambitious but if he really is driven to prove himself against the venture capitalists etc then FFWD could be one of the great investments. In my opinion it all depends on what investments and moves he pulls off a couple of steps down the road. That's what will really pull the investment in. The team need a few years and successive winners to prove themselves or re-in force their pedigree.

A report by US-based Super Data Research released in July 2016 predicts eSports viewership will reach 303-million by 2019 from an expected 214million by the end of 2016. The report says eSports is becoming more mainstream and that has attracted traditional media channels such as ESPN.

DD4 - Hope that is correct. Last time they told me that and I shared it with everyone here (exciting news in before the end of the year 2016) nothing ever materialized. That was when I asked in December and the CEO himself said before year end. Perhaps it will happen since he said it to everyone this time and not just me! Let's see if it is fact or fiction.

The share price recovery is continuing.The next important landmark for me will be 15p,the price of the last placing. If we can get there this week I think we can move quickly to 20p on news of a good deal. I think today's news of the value increase in one investment is a taster for the big deals that are coming soon.

Agreed, hang on to your hats! Lorne is due to speak at the Master Investor show in March, so he will be keen to impress his audience with what he has achieved with FFWD and his outlook for the future of the company.

Should be some more meaty deals lined up what with possible options monies and the money I believe is still available from the last fund raising. A sale, a flotation and who knows what else........not many more exciting stocks to be part of in my opinion.

mustardmark, perhaps SatoshiPay doesn't tick enough of the boxes for further investment as far as Lorne Abony is concerned? The initial investment by FFWD in SatoshiPay was made before Lorne was appointed CEO.
