07/10/2015 21:54 | AI...I should add, there are people working in the North Sea and Norway now who still think no oil has been found in the Falklands. Just because they work in the field, it doesn't mean they know what's going on. So long as yhey knowcwhat's happening on their own pitch is enough for most people. :)) | agnabeya
07/10/2015 20:35 | If this is a duster it is taken a considerable amount of time and money to verify. The odds are 20% success. The question is why are they taking so long? Are some results filtering through? The pressure must be increasing on the operators as time goes by. | imperial3
07/10/2015 20:14 | Seriously doubt that AI. Noble seem to have tight control of the information. If rumours had migrated off the rig, we'd have heard them. There have been no credible rumours, as evidenced by trading volume. My own feeling is that something usually slips out on the grapevine. If there's no rumours, it's because there's no result yet. As it stands, a duster is just as likely as a gusher.....50/50. | agnabeya
07/10/2015 20:00 | Would word get around the company (Who owns the rig) if they had found oil ? i.e...Would people on a rig in Norway owned by the same company get wind of any oil find (or no oil find) on the Falklands Rig ? Just curious. | american idiot
07/10/2015 19:54 | "Planet Oil"......episode 1 tonight 9pm BBC4....might be worth a watch. GL ;-) | moneymunch
07/10/2015 19:41 | AI......he probably wouldn't know anything. Offshore companies don't share info amongst themselves....partic | agnabeya

07/10/2015 19:09 | I know a guy who works for the company who owns the Eirik Raude rig. Its all very interesting stuff. Hes been working recently on the Leiv Eiriksson in Norway. Would I be breaking any stockmarket rules if I were to ask him what is going on with the Falklands Rig ? | american idiot
07/10/2015 14:51 | No agnabeya The names of my 2 sons lol Bit more positive news oil now due to rebound imho | jamesjoel
07/10/2015 14:34 | Cyan, good reading - And I just hope that day isn't too far off. It seems a lifetime ago I first heard of Desire. Oh-wait a minute... And that's a great find jamesjoel (any relation to Billy?) That article basically says what most posters have been saying for sometime. It makes the holding seem all worthwhile if it happens like that. :) I haven't any plan of selling up before Fogl are taken over in a bidding war for a skyhigh price- but if the poo pushes the share price high enough, I just might. Before all I can do with it is get a designer zimmer frame. ;D | agnabeya

07/10/2015 13:50 | Afternoon agnabeya. Malcy appears to think POO maybe turning I left 50,000 FOGL with a limit sell order at £1.50. Been sitting there a long while. One day, one day lol | cyan

07/10/2015 11:41 | Cyan, good morning. Yer not wrong, mate. :) I keep reading recently about the poo about to turn. Nice to hear it's actually happening, in a small way at least. Yes, thecNFB is our next throw of the dice. They're already weighted in our favour there. I'm OK with waiting for the news. Whenever it comes. It could be a week to ten days yet....or it could come today. No point in fretting. It doesn"t look like I'll get my sell target share price before news. In the meantime, I'll window shop for goodies to treat myself with when I'm rich. :) GLA | agnabeya |
