12/1/2015 15:42 | Oil sitting at $46.05 on my MT4. I just opened a short as this is a new low. I see the trend line you are talking about but Im not convinced it has enough strength looking at the Traders Dynamic Index everything is pointing down, from monthly right down to 5min, this is a clear bounce short signal for my strategy. I have a 400+pip stop however.... and looking for $40 oil to be hit. My 2 cents tell me that everything comes round in cycles, sometimes they are big, sometimes they are small but cycles they are. Oil hit below in the last crash, we have dropped quicker than the last crash with less pull backs, yes the pull back will come I have no doubt within the next 3 years oil will be +$100 again but until I see strength in the TDI I aint buying any oil or oil stocks. And then on a even wider note I believe we are going to see the collapse of the $ in the next 18 months, I do not think oil and gold will be valued in $'s much longer. All just my opinion and gut feeling that something aint right in the stock market. Thats the main reason I moved to Forex 3 years ago. | fraser038
12/1/2015 14:30 | The fundamental truth is; no producer can tolerate for long the current, let alone, the lower predicted prices. Listened to an analyst today who stated that real damage was being done and production will be lost. The summary was there will be a very sharp recovery to a 'high' price in 12 to 18 months. This is significant for FOGL as we are years from production. The low oil prices we are experiencing will not last and by the time developments in FOGL's acreage are being mooted; we will be in a much better place in respect of oil prices. | cyan
12/1/2015 14:20 | Hi Fraser, Yes the support that I was talking about was the ,what I call, "the panic support level" and there is indeed panic in the oil price. If you connect the lows of 1998, 2001 and 2009 you will see the line I am using and extrapolating that to today shows the support I was referring ie $46 ish. I can see the $35 support level to which you refer and sincerely hope we are not going there. Fundamentals keep me from considering this possibility as I feel that overall supply and demand are far too inelastic to support such a move. But you never know .... Good luck and thanks for your feedback. | mariopeter
12/1/2015 10:48 | Thanks for the link Mariopeter. I'm primarily a Forex Chartist (4H/Daily TF) so I was keen to see what you are talking about. I know charting is subjective but with the chart you have posted I see no "speedy bounce" at $46. I see support at $35-$36. Both of us may be wrong... Good Luck, I will re-invest in fogl but only on a break of this downward trend. The rest is just gambling, in my experience the market will push you further than you ever believed was possible....in both directions.... even at this price be prepared to lose 50%. | fraser038

07/1/2015 08:52 | This appears to be a company that is very reluctant to give shareholders any idea what is going on, if anything. Here's what they said in September: 'Major 3D seismic acquisition programme completed in February 2014 and interpretation continues.' A year ago almost! What sort of interpretation takes a year with no feedback? | trulyscrumptious
