23/9/2017 12:27 | Note interims issued 0n 28th September last year so hoping for some comment on the post acquisition landscape going forward. RM | rampmeister
02/9/2017 10:11 | The acquisition has been done for strategic reasons rather than to deliver an immediate uptick in earnings. The intention is clearly be to create a proposition that combines FFX's currency capabilities with CardOne's money transimissiom services. Should be quite appealing. However, I suspect there will be some systems effort required to enable this and it will also take time to acquire or cross-sell significant volumes of customers onto the new product. I'm not expecting much of an impact during this year. Quite difficult for brokers to mske an assessment though hopefully we will start to see psyback during the next FY. Anytime got any financial info for CardOne? I note they have opened 80.000 accounts and charge an ongoing fee of £15 per month. | quant_investor
01/9/2017 10:45 | Chart looks ready to break upwards. Broker targets following completion of acquisition anyone? | its the oxman
01/9/2017 09:13 | Alpha FX shares are soaring. I believe they are in the commercial space that FFX are moving in to. Alpha have a market cap of £180m with revenue of 6m. FFX revenue was 10m last year and has a market cap £116... great potential. Wish I was a shareholder at the time of the fund raising to pick shares up at 58p! FFX seem very good at getting their name out there too.. heavily mentioned in two BBC articles over last couple of days. | 5chipper
01/9/2017 09:06 | Nice bit of publicity on the Beeb | 5chipper
31/8/2017 14:58 | Yes similar % for me. Ordinary shareholders not getting much despite co supposedly valuing us. | its the oxman
31/8/2017 11:01 | And I got 964 out of 4500. My entitlement was 250, so I got 714 over and above. | alan@bj
31/8/2017 10:58 | Yes, I got 1642 out of a total of 8095 applied for. | fmc
31/8/2017 10:52 | Yes - I got 16% of what I applied for (over and above the entitlement) | glaws2
31/8/2017 10:36 | Anyone get any excess? | its the oxman
25/8/2017 01:57 | sounds like it. The share price has held out pretty well since the issue price was announced, though some share price weakness is a possibility. I guess you need to reassess your investment timelines here...trader or investor? If the latter then I think the spread maybe a little wide to try and jump out and back in a bit lower down. But what do I know? GLA | quant_investor
24/8/2017 20:55 | so we get all the basic and approx. 1/3rd of any excess we applied for - at least that's my quick estimate! ps tomorrow will be interesting - a lot of folk selling given the difference in price to the new shares; To sell or stick or even buy more on a dip..... difficult one | janeann
24/8/2017 20:30 | Should get a few more than I was expecting Furthermore, the Company announces that it has received valid acceptances from Qualifying Shareholders in respect of 4,637,813 Open Offer Shares, including applications for 3,422,608 Open Offer Shares under the Excess Application Facility. This represents approximately 268 per cent. of the maximum number of Open Offer Shares available under the Open Offer. Qualifying Shareholders who have validly applied for Open Offer Shares will receive their full Basic Entitlement. In addition, Qualifying Shareholders will be allocated any shares applied for under the Excess Application Facility on a pro rata basis. | quant_investor
22/8/2017 16:39 | Inevitable given the discount. I'll do well to get 1 in 60 there too! I'm surprised the share price has held out so well. Bodes well IMO. | quant_investor
22/8/2017 16:16 | What's the betting the Open Offer is oversubscribed? | alan@bj
17/8/2017 01:27 | Interactive Investor deadline is the 17th. 1 in 60 is a pretty measly allocation for existing shareholders, so clearly they have strong institutional support. | quant_investor
10/8/2017 13:05 | iweb have given me till 20th August. | brahmsnliszt
10/8/2017 12:28 | Alan,thanks | joeall
10/8/2017 12:19 | From the RNS of 8th August:- "The latest time for applications under the Open Offer to be received is 11.00 a.m. on 23 August 2017. The procedure for application and payment depends on whether, at the time at which application and payment is made, a Qualifying Shareholder has an Application Form in respect of their Basic Entitlement or have their Basic Entitlement credited to their stock account in CREST." I just rang Hargreaves Lansdown who said they haven't received anything yet from the company but do expect to be notifying shareholders either late tomorrow or early next week. | alan@bj
10/8/2017 11:30 | When does the option close? | joeall
09/8/2017 19:01 | Thanks Shauney. I'll chase up HL if I haven't had an email from them by noon tomorrow. | alan@bj
09/8/2017 18:25 | Been notified today through AJ Bell. | shauney2
09/8/2017 16:20 | When would you expect your broker to notify you of the option to subscribe? | alan@bj
08/8/2017 22:41 | Disappointing that us pi's can only subscribe to 1 new share for every 60 you own. Doesn't make it worthwhile. | mmc71 |
