19/10/2001 15:08 | Eurovestech seem to have been forgotten, but I believe will recover to give healthy returns long term. These are not a traders stock, but anyone interested in a multibagger over the next 2-3 years may be interested in doing a bit of research and tuck them away. 1. Cash burn is low, and this will be helped by 3 none exec directors having the confidence to take shares in lieu of there annual fee's of £15,000 per year each. The price of shares will be set at an ave price 5 days prior to when the fees are due each year. I think this is a major vote of confidence. (See R.N.S. 28/09/01) 2. £5 million in cash still to invest. 3.Two decent size institutional investors Scot Value Trust 22.55% Capital Gearing 5.9%. 3. Large Directors buys at these levels (RNS 22/08/01 & 28/09/01) 4. Boxmind investment seems to be proving its self with big investing at alot higher levels than EVT. I am a shareholder and intend to leave for 2-3 years, I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this stock both positive and negative. | david2000

17/7/2001 18:23 | anyone go to the agm? we could do with an update really? I might email the company to find out the latest and also ask when a new investment is likely. One thing that strikes me is that the lack of interest is because their original business plan relied on mainly software and dot coms. I belive we need some more diversified investments to clock up fresh interest in this dwindling market and a statement with more diverse direction. At this price this one is a good bet . | jdschwartz
13/7/2001 18:47 | jdschwartz, i all ready own 50,000 shares should i top up before the agm? | drbutt

Have looked on there web site(www.eurovestech The management seem good and dont like to throw away money with just two employees there cash burn is (i think)28,000 a month. seems plenty of upside. agm planed foy july 16 01 But this is a tech stock and in this market ????????????? | 657jim

12/7/2001 18:04 | TRADES ARE RARE FOR THIS POTENTIAL BEAUTY. WITH A STRING OF INTELLIGENT INVESTMENTS AND ONLY TWO EMPLOYEES, SO VERY LOW CASH BURN, HERE WE SEE AN INCUBATOR THAT IS TRADING BELOW ITS NET ASSET VALUE WITH SOME OF ITS INVESTMENTS SEEING CASH INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES OF ANYTHING UP TO 16 TIMES THE VALUATION OF WHEN EVT PUT THEIR HANDS IN THEIR POCKETS LAST YEAR. IT DOESNT TAKE A SCIENTIST TO RECOGNISE THAT ANYTHING WITH THE WORD INCUBATOR IN IT IS ON THE BRINK OF NOT BEING OUT OF FASHION. ESPECIALLY WITH MICROSOFTS SHOT IN THE ARM WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE CAUSED A VOLCANIC ERUPTION IN TERMS OF A CHANGE OF SENTIMENT. THIS STOCK WAS TIPPED SEVERAL TIMES AT PRICES ABOVE 20P AND NOT A LOT HAS CHANGED. WHEN THE TIDE TURNS, STOCKS LIKE THIS WILL PROSPER AGAIN IN A BIG WAY. MY OPINION IS THAT LONG TERM THIS IS A POTENTIAL RETIREMENT STOCK. | jdschwartz
12/7/2001 15:20 | ive been watching. Last few days there have been buy between 30,000-50,000 everyday with no sells, today so far three trades all sell 27,000 share. I all ready hold 50,000 share,im thinking of topping up soon. | drbutt

26/6/2001 08:20 | ALSO FOUND THIS STORY WHICH IS "OFF THE BOARD" AT ADVFN Date: Monday 29 Jan 2001 09:31 LONDON (AFX) - Eurovestech PLC said it remains well-placed to capitalise on its access to top quality deal flow and that the board is confident about its prospects. The company announced chief executive Richard Bernstein will invest 2 mln stg of his own funds on the same terms as institutional shareholders. The company also said its purchasing power has increased dramatically since September which allows it to make high quality investments at values that increase its potential long-term upside | energyi
26/6/2001 08:03 | SOME FUNDAMENTALS "Audited net assets as at March 31 2001 were 13.2 MILLION Sterling and cash balances and short-term liquid investments accounted for 4.9 mln stg, the company said. Its audited net asset valuation, taking account of third party funding events, resulted in a 3.5 mln stg unrealised surplus being credited to the investment valuation reserve." This compares with a MARKET CAP OF £11.0 MILLION (220.7 million shs x 5P) Originally floated (March 2000?) at 5P | energyi
12/6/2001 00:37 | Im informed there was a big seller in the market, he is out now, great probability of 2 companies they have invested in set to ipo later this year Magneta and lynx. | bundmar
11/6/2001 17:11 | So why is noone mopping up or averaging down at this so-called bargain price? | jdschwartz
24/5/2001 11:13 | i took a punt on these boys anyone know any more gen how much cash burn have they got in the coffers? | hagar the horrible
04/5/2001 00:35 | At 7p i see this stock as a strong buy,yes the company has made some boo boos with one of its investments deckchair.com but the others are set to reap in the rewards-lynx phtonics -- fiber optics, infomediary - artificial intellignce and the main one which is likely to come to the market this year is Magenta- intelligent software agent. Recent fall is due to one large seller in the markt, i believe the stock has now been sold, and feel it is a great buying opportunity. Dont expect the stock to jump up over night, but its one of those stocks to buy and tuck away. I know a few people who know Richard Bernstin- the ceo - and im informed he is a very shrewed business man . dyor imho | bundmar |
