Jupiter European Opportunities Trust plc (the 'Company')

Issue of Ordinary shares

The Company announces that it has today issued 175,000 new Ordinary shares of 1 pence each for cash at a price of 545.0 pence per share under its Ordinary share Block Listing facility. The new Ordinary shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary shares.

Following this issue of shares, the total number of Ordinary shares in issue is 105,920,331. Each Ordinary share carries the right to one vote in relation to all circumstances at general meetings of the Company; therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 105,920,331. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
