14 May 2007 - European Goldfields Limited (AIM: EGU / TSX: EGU) announces that
it will publish its results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2007 on Tuesday
15 May 2007.

European Goldfields will host a conference call on Wednesday 16 May 2007 at 10:
00 a.m. ET / 3:00 pm (London, UK time) to update investors and analysts on its
results.

Romania. European Goldfields is completing a technical feasibility study for
submission to the Romanian government in Q1 2007, in support of a permit
application to develop the project.
