10/11/2022 15:47 | It just depends what the plan is now for the original Serenity well, there's an estimated 10+mbls, and as to when they expect to do a tie in, it's been said the cost wouldn't be overly expensive. Yes the appraisal well result was disappointing but it's certainly not been a total failure. Just need some positive update from Oddie! | grannyboy
10/11/2022 15:43 | Still plenty to play for with such a low market cap. Plenty of upside here for the patient. Let's fast forward to Christmas Eve and we will be at 1.5p minimum | basem1
10/11/2022 15:34 | The reward did far outweigh the risk as we were led to believe there was a very good chance of finding oil with the Serenity appraisal well because oil had already been discovered in the field. As I understand it, we also still have a 25 per cent interest in Serenity. But, yes, hindsight is a wonderful thing and I doubt shareholders would have voted for the farm-in if they knew the outcome would be this. | hoper1
10/11/2022 15:11 | It did seem a company maker at the time I thought the reward far outweighed the risk Hindsight is a wonderful thing | basem1
10/11/2022 14:03 | People talking about a potential shareholder revolt against Simon, yet this same group of shareholders voted yes to the placing to fund serenity.... I was never in favour of it and was one of very few investors who voted against it. | johnswan193
10/11/2022 14:00 | kingivor - all thoroughly sensible. Cheers. Suet | suetballs
10/11/2022 12:59 | Imv the likely answer is that SO has been told to step down or face a requisition to be forced out. I would like the Chairman to step into the role of CEO, drop Morocco, most of the technical team, secure a good Irish JV, let i3e work a unitisation of Serenity with Tain JV with Repsol and institute a fair dividend. Not too much to ask. | kingivor
10/11/2022 12:55 | Imv the likely answer is that SO has been told to step down or face a requisition to be forced out. I would like the Chairman to step into the role of CEO, drop Morocco, most of the technical team, secure a good Irish JV, let i3e work a unitisation of Tain JV with Repsol and institute a fair dividend. Not too much to ask. A simple read through to Egdons m.cap and sum of the parts would surely attract bids well North of 2x the current company valuation. | kingivor

10/11/2022 08:42 | Finals overdue compared to the last few years, never later than 30th Oct., if we have to wait much longer speculation as to why will ramp up | likeawalrus

09/11/2022 13:37 | Give it time.... | gusto01
09/11/2022 12:32 | gusto01, everything you've predicted its done the exact opposite.. I'd just give it a rest if I was you, though there is the chance that if you try and predict 50 possibles you might eventually get one right! | grannyboy
09/11/2022 11:25 | Nah... Should be fine need to get the traders out | gusto01

09/11/2022 09:14 | And SO doesn't help to endear himself to shareholders when he can't even get the results out on time! | grannyboy

08/11/2022 17:33 | Come on. Cut them some slack. They must be exhausted following last weeks license extension. | ride daice
08/11/2022 15:33 | The only thing Oddie & his `Little Willie` are concerned about is the `next big thing`, which they will bet our money on & hope for the best!!!!! They have nothing to lose, as they have already lost the respect of all lth`s & it is now up to the larger shareholders to boot them out!! Let`s just hope they are either lining up replacements with an ounce of common sense or lining up buyer, who sees the potential & can afford about 4p a share?!! | enfranglais |
