29/9/2022 20:22 | All this Serenity sh1t is if buts & maybees!!!!! Wressle was a sure fire cert & the imbeciles gave away 40% for next 2 nowt!! Now, in my book, that's a sacking offence!! If the `exploratory well` is good, where does that get us - more dilution, more uncertainty, profits perhaps down the line? Down the line, i could be deed, so 6p from Wressle before now would have done me fine!! | enfranglais
29/9/2022 17:50 | ^Good post! Remember there will be an oil squeeze at the end of this year. Be sure to keep your fuel tanks refilled when it gets down to half way! ---- The EU has agreed to ban all Russian oil imports which come in by sea by the end of this year. Don't forget.... | powereddrones
29/9/2022 17:20 | You may possibly be interested in my posting on the LSE board earlier today concerning a conversation I had with a geophysicist friend who worked in the Serenity / Halibut Horst area, albeit some time ago, but presumably using a similar geophysical data set to the one used by EOG and i3Energy to locate the current well. He said there are direct hydrocarbon indicators (DHIs) along the prospective trend but they are quite “patchy” in their distribution. There’s even a DHI where the current well is being drilled so, in his opinion, there’s a very good chance of our finding oil here. But "How much?" was his big question. He also thought there were several different sidetrack scenarios: 1. We find an oil column and the reservoir both of the expected thickness. In this case the partners might decide to step out to the east or west along the structural trend. This could provide useful information about any local reservoir variation but, as it’s likely to be a shallow well with a probable depth of only 4,000 to 5,000 feet, we may not be able to deviate more than a few hundred yards in either direction. In his opinion this isn’t likely to be enough of an off-set to improve the estimated amount of oil-in-place (OIP) by very much. 2. We find a fairly small oil colum, or maybe even no oil at all - which now seems fairly unlikely - so we decide to drill up-dip (to the north). However, we’ve been told by i3E that the reservoir thins to the north against the Halibut Horst. This isn’t therefore likely to prove up much additional oil. 3. The best outcome - and this is only a personal view - would be a down-dip sidetrack (to the south). This could prove very useful if a) the reservoir is found to be entirely oil-filled and the oil water contact hasn’t been reached at this location, or b) there’s seismic or other evidence to suggests that the reservoir thickens to the south, in which case it would be very useful to know how much of the thicker reservoir is oil-filled, and where the oil / water contact sits, if it hasn’t been found at the current location. This should significantly increase the OIP. 4. On a more negative note my friend added that an apparently valid prospect was drilled some time ago to the west of Serenity - he couldn’t recall the actual well number - which found very thick sand but the well was dry. The reason for this was thought to be that the boundary fault next to the Halibut Horst didn’t act as a sealing fault at that particular location. IMO this may explain the patchy distribution of the DHIs. 5. We’ll only learn about all this when we get to total depth and they’ve seen the logs. Good luck to all, I say. | greypanther2

29/9/2022 14:42 | So enfranglais if serenity proves up, and the share price reacts accordingly and it trebles/quadruples you would still be down?.. You can't seem to appreciate that if they prove the licence up the share price should increase substantially! | grannyboy
29/9/2022 14:23 | Well done CURRY!! It is only the BENIGHTED lth`s who REALLY know this share & they were the ones who were ROGERED!! It has become a share for spivs, in & outers & run by suits with nothing in them!!!!! Wake up at the back!!! | enfranglais
29/9/2022 12:40 | Plus Wressle has had the favourable CPR | cinques
29/9/2022 12:39 | So today the MCap is about GBP 21mThis is close to the MCap before the placing to fund the Serenity drill However there are now more shares with some persistent sellers. Even if Serenity is a dud and the share price gets creamed initially, it will pick back up to reflect Wressle and any remote Irish potential Not a lot of point on selling now in my view | cinques
29/9/2022 12:16 | Looks like we're back in intensive care. SO and Truss would make a good comedy duo. Suet | suetballs
29/9/2022 11:30 | They still own 30% of Wressle. | grannyboy |
