26/8/2021 09:33 | under £8m mcap, yet at 500 bopd, which they have stated is now achieved, that gives eog £2.5 mil cash a year after extraction costs. It seems to me that eog is ridiculously under priced, but there must be a reason in investors eyes why. The obvious conclusion is that PI's, the investment community, institutions do not trust the management to use this money wisely. There has been much talk of 're balancing' and yet we have seen nothing concrete since it was first muted at the start of the year. Indeed the comments on the purchase of a 'north sea asset' have gone down like a lead balloon. Irish assets have gone quiet, and we have no update or feedback via rns on the Morocco farm out launch. As we have seen to our cost, management enthusiasm on projects does not always tie in with what industry and funders think. When you look at the shareprice and the value of Wressle alone you have to wonder what will be required to get value for shareholders .. some major changes I think!! | currypasty
25/8/2021 11:05 | 11312 - wasn't that how Hughie updated everyone regarding "the major", lol? Guys ffs, I'm not passing any judgement about this BOD but when you think about what they were left with and cash resources they haven't done that badly? Of course I'd just stick a lawyer or accountant in charge and return all excess funds to share-holders or at least try to progress consolidation of the smallie UK onshore players (but likely to be difficult with the relative ego's involved?) than chase any more dreams but you never know if they can get a UK N sea deal - there are or have been good ones "about" without too much further dilution then that's not a bad thing either? Just saying like and as ever all IMHO and DYOR of course?! | dunderheed
25/8/2021 08:22 | Odd Simon announces a potential deal via a numpty pi interview ...quality ! | slicethepie
24/8/2021 18:36 | What's the big secret? It really won't be that good a deal. Same old waffle. | guesswhosback2
24/8/2021 17:24 | 2.5 million dump... well done S.O. left overs from placing ? | currypasty
24/8/2021 15:54 | Yes ..likely another placing coming at some point for their next 'project' .. | ohisay
24/8/2021 13:35 | oh dear " 3rd leg, north sea, advanced stage " what a nightmare this share is | currypasty
24/8/2021 13:23 | Weakness in the price ? ...Its because Oddie has come up with another hairbrained idea in the North Sea - see the proactive interview. | ohisay
24/8/2021 11:22 | Seems there is some pleasure in Morocco that there is a prospective oil play. Well let's hope there is some real upside for EOG out in Morocco I suspect more upside than its going to get from the homegrown oil announced today. Shockingly muted response to Wressle although maybe by the end of the day the market may start to recognise how helpful it will be to EOG. However it's looking like a damp squib for all the partners as things stand and that's not exactly a surprise given the past history of certain personalities in the whole enterprise. People like to invest in people and not just in projects and investment success has a lot to do with trust. However my guess is that when someone gets their calculators out and has a think about it we will see an up-tick as the day/days progress. Lets hope Morocco is a success for EOG. | sarkcosy
24/8/2021 10:35 | Seems we're getting a bit of international coverage on Morocco. Hows everyones French? And more from S.O this morning.. | christy41
24/8/2021 09:39 | I wonder if the confirmation of Wressle production will be a catalyst for some corporate action. The Wressle triumvirate may consider a merger and Rathlin or Corallian could be looking for a route to market. | jusmasel99
24/8/2021 08:34 | That 1.5p offer felt like I should be selling up everything I own and going all in here. Most likely in hindsight it be the best ever decision I could have made. | luckyabbeygale
24/8/2021 08:26 | remember the adage "buy the rumour, sell the news"! (especially when leaked by the Fat Controller) | technovator

24/8/2021 08:11 | still seems a share overhang.. it has to clear and value out | currypasty
24/8/2021 08:08 | Very muted response following on from recent poor performance compared to the JV partners. | oilforex
24/8/2021 08:01 | Well done all for holding your nerves, or getting trapped at a higher share price Long road to here, let's enjoy the moment!!!! 3p soon imho. Luchan. | luchan007
24/8/2021 07:47 | Its been a long time coming but really excellent news, plus more to come. "Considerable upside exists in the other formations at Wressle which we now look forward to progressing." | christy41
24/8/2021 07:45 | should double, imo | currypasty
24/8/2021 07:27 | Transformational for this small cap co. Let's hope its spent wisely. Huge income and more to come. Amazing news has rebooted this co. | guesswhosback2
