11/3/2019 09:55 | I think people are just tired of pontificating. They want to see results now. Simples. | dunderheed
11/3/2019 09:54 | we are all in stunned silence, is it a dream, will there be a JV? | currypasty
11/3/2019 09:36 | Look at that. Up ten percent and no comments for three days | fardels bear
08/3/2019 15:51 | bit of a sell off this after | currypasty
08/3/2019 10:13 | I bloody hope not - there is no need for such high risk exploration - there are plenty of other development and production opportunities (potentially) for sale. If you risk discount back the carried wells (if / when they land) - there isn't that much upside imho. Of course if one comes in then its great but statistically this will not happen and that is what aim gamblers buy for - which I fully understand. I am RRE holder I hasten to add and significantly more than here (lol). | dunderheed
08/3/2019 10:08 | I have a feeling that RRE might put a bid here as well | costax1654x
07/3/2019 19:32 | Vermilion may have some spare cash? | bountyhunter
07/3/2019 09:12 | Jus, thank you for that: to be clear I have no intention of holding all of the position throughout the entire drill, this is a puntvestment based on potential farm in news. The necessity of reviving national gas resources is driving this, the location is perfect. If you search for Shannon LNG online there are some useful graphs re future gas requirements and depletion of existing fields. Spangle93, Northern Petroleum? Fwiw its taken many years to look at a company or watch presentations either live or online with the basic assumption of: I think you are dismal and will cause horrendous capital loss if I invest in your company. General comment not related to Eog, Northern or any other outfit. MATD are back at Oil Capital soon, two rig programme now so I assume that a fundraise is in order. | gunsofmarscapone
07/3/2019 08:13 | GoM - ref your first paragraph, you didn't include "and if all else fails, change the name of the company so that eventually no-one remembers the bad old days" (unless you're Cabot Resources, who perpetuate them) | spangle93
07/3/2019 07:00 | GoM - great post. Patience with EOG has been the key and with a bit of trading over the years I am in a good position with a low average and a reasonable trading profit. The time has come. Inishkea just has to be drilled. It is totally inconceivable that it will not be. An Oil Major's geologist's have confirmed the prospect by that company's willingness to farm in to the project. Corrib is in decline, spare infrastructure is in place. Ireland needs gas. The debacle of getting Corrib on stream is a warning to Ireland and future investors that another gas processing plant will take to long to be approved and built so Corrib remains the only solution. Kinsale is about to be de-commissioned. So reliant on gas is Ireland that the EU grant funded another pipeline from the UK just in case the original got damaged. I don't know what the share price will be when it comes to spudding the well next year but it has to be multiples of where we are now. a 3 to 1 chance of success against a potential discovery worth hundreds of millions to EOG will bring far more interest than is currently driving the share price up. And in the background all the other irons we have in the fire to supplement interest in our ridiculously low SP | jusmasel99
06/3/2019 19:02 | Judging by the chart, imo some positive news at long last is very likely imminent, well that's my assessment and I'm sticking with it! | bountyhunter
06/3/2019 18:50 | Hard to forget the past isn’t it? Particularly if we have nursed bitterness? I would say that in every succesful case in tiny cap oilers (and there are precious few) there is a clear inflection point. Years have elapsed, time has wearied the faithful. Placings have occurred, diluting the allegiant. Technical failures happened, dismaying the congregation. We cannot know if EOG will succeed in landing their giant carp and we must hope that they do not drill alone. One day, with luck (a fair amount of luck) EOG will go ballistic. I only write this as although my strategy allows for years of watching and patience that it cheers me up to see the LTH’s succeed, sometimes recognising that everything has suddenly changed and adding to their carefully researched and nurtured original position. It is so very very hard to spot which way the wind is blowing sometimes. | gunsofmarscapone
06/3/2019 15:21 | Jus that's good news. Do you think it's the reason for the recent rise from 3p? | guesswhosback2
06/3/2019 14:37 | WTF - all this information is available on the interweb, lol! What I actually said to Jussy was any of his "friends at Nexen" certainly would not disclose any confidential information at all to him as I have every confidence in the people that work there being way way too professional for that. I know 2 of the senior leadership team in Uxbridge if he is saying any different from that, which I ask he confirms and, I am sure they would be very interested to hear about such 'leaks' of confidential information. Will someone pass over that request as I 'hear' he has me 'filtered*'. Blurry idiot!! * Not really lol. | dunderheed
06/3/2019 14:27 | I recall someone here suggesting I had no friends in certain places - Mmmm - the Stena Icemax is now on its way to Cartagena to refuel before proceeding to drill the Iolar well for Nexen as I predicted. Any apologies will be accepted but as I have some folk on filter here I probably won't see them. Spud is due in April. DCCAE have expedited the complaint regarding the EIA assessment and Nexen have responded so I assume all is well with that response. | jusmasel99
06/3/2019 05:58 | Company making deal? Even the agreement to sponsor drilling will still be without results. Agreed it may help the current disaster share price and I may get my money back. | guesswhosback2
05/3/2019 23:09 | Here's hoping bruv !! | dunderheed
05/3/2019 23:04 | I know you are Dunderheed and hopefully your rhetorical question is water under the bridge as a potential company making deal is close to being confirmed. If it is and could be any day, the share price is likely to rocket. All IMHO of course. | adnatrob
05/3/2019 20:54 | Yes agree but, whilst we are asking rhetorical questions who is responsible for talking up the hopes of investors with "massive dataroom interest and activity" (many times). Who is responsible for feeding titbits of one sided "facts" to gullible investors about a lot "of things" then said punters can claim it's their "research"??!! It ain't the mm's, I think?! Lol just having some fun Adna - there's always lots of questions to be asked and many different potential answers. | dunderheed
05/3/2019 19:42 | Didn't take you to be a naieve investor Dunderhead, this is AIM and in the absence of news, retail investors are key to price movement, MM's will respond accordingly. | adnatrob
05/3/2019 18:52 | Yes those damn traders and mm's. It's all their fault. | dunderheed
05/3/2019 18:45 | Traders at work, will be caught out when news announced. | adnatrob
05/3/2019 16:08 | And all the way back down | guesswhosback2
05/3/2019 15:19 | Pretty much goes without saying that once the deal is confirmed this will go up and is likely to continue going up. Flippers beware, news could drop at any time. | adnatrob
05/3/2019 12:25 | Long way to go yet. | guesswhosback2 |
