Looks like a refusal to me .. these people just have no knowledge of their responsibilities. They actually need to produce a reason why not the fact that they don't like the idea. Oh well .. off to the INspector we go I suppose abd thereafter a Judicial Review which is the certainty we get approval

GWB - less than two years to go for me. What price the share price at spud on Inishkea looking at 1TCF perhaps with a tieback to Corrib possible.

Note Vermillion made no mention of Predator - probably haven't even heard of them

Mcap after 50% take up of open offer gives 450m shares = £13.5m with cash in hand

News coming from the work over at West Firsby

Farm In for Irish Licences to be confirmed and if so with well commitments

Not holding my breath for good news this afternoon on Wressle but always a possibility that common sense will win the day

And waiting to hear of the new prospect in Morocco

What I think might be significant good news to come at the AGM will be the announcement of the new Institutional Investors. That could be very interesting indeed.

I bought some more this morning at less than the offer price which is the only downside at the moment .. dont understand that

Thanks for the info. Only 7 years to go then. What price will we get for another Wressel refusal I wonder?

Thanks for that link Jusmasel, nice comment on page 115 "Other companies exploring acreage adjacent to Corrib would make sense to tie into our infrastructure...or obtain equity".

But in the French section, more about heating glasshouses for tomatoes. Morocco must surely be a better bet than that.

Must be a reasonable expectation that Vermillion will have been in the data room as well. Note the existence of Corrib Deep .. our well (ex Shell) may have similar underneath as well says Hugh..

Well well well .. now firmly in the view of Vermillion .. We get a mention from them in their Investor Presentation from yesterday - haven't listened to the podcast yet

Talk of potential tieback in 2024 and also interesting that they would look at capex for additional resources of 7 and 31 bcf ..

£4m is already secured in the placing, it is just the extra £1m in the offer to shareholders that may be undersubscribed. But it still may be cheaper to buy in the offer than the market as there aren't dealing costs.
I have just bought a few in the market though! There isn't much volume taking it below 3p, I calculated £12k worth of sales, in a capitalisation of £8.5m, so it wont take much buying to take it back to 3p.

Well, who will buy at 3p, when you can buy at 2.85 in the market? Dead duck time unless one of the promises comes to fruition & soon!!!

Faroe do have LO16/23 which was farmed out to Nexen, but nothing has been heard of it since, not sure if any seismic has been done.

franglas, yes HUR is a rather different prospect to EOG, if EOG comes good in the end it will be a pleasant surprise, but I'm fully expecting HUR to turn out to be a profitable investment after first oil.

bountymam - Also a holder of HUR & though it has retraced from 60 to about 40p now, with FOIL due in a month to 6 weeks & the prospect of further drills paid for by farm in partner, the risks there, are probably outweighed by the potential rewards of a £1 - £2 share price within 6 months. To do the same here, would mean EOG being in the 7.5p - 15p range, which is possible if Wressle & reasonable farm in negotiated?
Will decide on placing at last minute but getting fed up with promises which are not kept here - unlike HUR, which seems to always exceed them!!!

not got a lot here as fortunately this was just a punt from the start, win a few lose a few of these type of investments although I do hate the losing ones!
...not given up hope here completely yet though!

I sold a proportion for 3.15p to buy back at 3p in the open offer but hardly worth the effort
