06/2/2018 16:22 | Jus completely agree but I prefer to buy at 3.35 ask. If that doesn't happen then I'm not taking the 'risk'. Sincerely best of luck to you though - could pay off handsomely! | dunderheed
06/2/2018 16:12 | If he doesn't get Holmwood through in 3 weeks | currypasty
06/2/2018 16:05 | Well contrarian viewpoint here then - filling my boots with all the spare cash I have at this price (which isn't much) but to pick these up at 4.1p is unbelievable. The trading pattern is much the same as what happened when M&G pulled out so I suspect one of our institutional investors is taking a dim view on UK Onshore Oil and Gas. I concur with that but I think our Irish assets are worth considerably more than £12m and whatever new ventures Hugh is contemplating ... | jusmasel99
06/2/2018 14:44 | Yep still 20% over valued before I even think of buying. Imho. | dunderheed
06/2/2018 14:23 | shareprice 4.05p, mcap £12m | currypasty
04/2/2018 10:58 | There sure is Jus... I would have thought one of the main reasons to strengthen the board (especially with Brian's & Simons background) was because of EOGs assets next door to to Corrib. I note Serica are also looking for partners: www.irishexaminer.co | tommy241
03/2/2018 20:33 | Lot to be said for being in the right place at the right time ... | jusmasel99
03/2/2018 13:50 | I've held eog for many years long long time! . The guy running this life style company is cleverer than stupid old me. | andrewpandy1
03/2/2018 13:20 | Minimum 20pps. On the basis of Wressle production, successful Holmwood drill and farmout of Corrib with drill commitment. All this year (hopefully!) | tommy241
03/2/2018 10:09 | It depends what you call a "bargain price". | joestalin
02/2/2018 23:04 | Hi Spangle, You may think you're jesting, but it may end up being closer to the truth. I have a feeling that once the deal is signed off on Corrib, Vermilion will snap up Europa at a bargain price. | caters
02/2/2018 15:17 | #6516 - my investment in EME and SGC is purely short term for Dempsey although I think Duynug might come in a bit sooner than folk think as it is up for sale by Conrad and I can't see EME hanging in there through to production so they may sell along with Conrad. Right now I would put every spare penny I have into EOG because an share price of less than 4.5p is a steal and will surely get back up to 6p plus in no time on the back of news as and when it arrives. | jusmasel99
02/2/2018 14:35 | They won't buy shares - they'll just get a load of options with a strike price of 4.5p - just to create some stretch ! | caters
02/2/2018 14:20 | o/t Are you not keen on China and Duyung over on EME Jusmas? | mark of the rushes
02/2/2018 06:37 | Well Tommy that interview is a bit of good news - at last setting out where we are and where we are going and I am very happy that Hugh and the team concur with me on the way forward. WHat he is saying here is enough enough with the UK Planning/regulatory regime. Yes we will see Wressle and Holmwood through to completion but after that we need to invest in and concentrate in countries where they appreciate the benefits of a local Oil land Gas industry and the regulatory process is less restrictive. I think news on that front is not so far away and if it can be accomplished, as Hugh suggests, by M&A then it should not require additional fund raising. Corrib is our brightest star. A Gas discovery drilled on our licence close to a producing gas field with multiple additional prospects. Coupled with an imminent change of ownership of the production plant and field, there is definitely a need for additional resources to top up production as it starts its natural decline. News as well on the porcupine front as it appears re-interpretaion using new techniques has allowed them to identify fluid interfaces in our prospects suggesting Gsa/Oil/Water. (I know I know I know - same was said at Druid) I like this new strategy - for what it is worth (not a lot if anything) it is exactly what I would do in the same position although I would like to see some targets being set for production - 1,000bpd would be a start. Patience now should be rewarded to those who take this opportunity to buy in at such a low price. I got lucky by selling off when I lost interest in UK Onshore after the planning inspector decision - now buying back in and will buy more as soon as SGC/EME frack dempsey and get full production so I can offload them. I'll keep reminding you all - until the new board members buy in - there must be news in the offing and that can only be on our new fronts or Corrib (both new members have in depth experience of Corrib) Mmmmm... (probably get an RNS today saying they have bought ) | jusmasel99
01/2/2018 19:51 | Personally I'd like to see the new directors buying shares then following up with a video interview. Speaking of interviews: hxxps://youtu.be/FDB | tommy241
01/2/2018 16:48 | Lack of news flow CP - I just can't see where the next bit of good news is going to come from at the moment. Tried my usual haunts for research into anything that sounds like Irish Oil or Gas and nothing. Looks like it will have to be the unexpected. Only bright spot about no news is that it means the new directors aren't buying so here's hoping its because they are not allowed to. | jusmasel99
01/2/2018 15:33 | a lot of sells, price ticked down again... the Brian O'Cathain effect? | currypasty

29/1/2018 10:28 | Nicely put CP! | dunderheed
29/1/2018 10:16 | All Hugh's placings and dilution have been done at 6p, bar his very first at 9p. Directors have bought in the placings at 6p. I doubt any further dilution would be done at less, so the next time the shareprice goes on a run up, be mindful! I would expect some news soon. Hugh must realise there is a portion of the investment community that will view the NED as a bad move, given his history, and so would hopefully want to show the leopard has changed his spots. | currypasty
28/1/2018 23:10 | Absolutely Tommy! That's what makes a market. Best of luck all! | dunderheed
28/1/2018 21:51 | In this instance I'll trust my own research, with Paul's and Hugh's opinions. I have a lot more than pocket money invested here so fingers crossed 2018 is the year of returns..... | tommy241 |
