27/7/2017 10:19 | PVR starting to move now we are getting closer... make you bets!!! | currypasty
27/7/2017 09:35 | Thanks Ed, | zhockey
27/7/2017 08:47 | Zhockey, You might find this useful: However its worth noting that the Austins are deeper and higher pressure too, but on average don't come anywhere close to the flow rates achieved at HH-1. I'd expect the KL to behave fairly similarly though was about 50% decline per year with a gradual flattening off. Its more than the average 25% or so you'd see from a NS well for example. We'll not know the decline rates of HH and BB-1 until they tested and put into long term production, if necessary. Also worth noting is that the Austins are typically 150-800ft in thickness. BB-1 contains substantially more fractured carbonates. Regards, Ed. | edgein
27/7/2017 08:24 | Does anyone know yet what flow and decline rates UKOG are expected to see at their new discovery? | zhockey
27/7/2017 08:22 | that would be great, Holmwood closer than we are expecting! | currypasty
27/7/2017 07:45 | Re PVR. Post courtesy of notaskanger: "Initial set up, i.e. the Conductor pipe is not drilled out so to speak and what ever is displaced rests on the seabed. The first section of casing is drilled out but water is used as a cooling agent and this mixture also rests on the sea floor. so you are only looking at the second run of casing which would be between 800 and 1000m, If Skandi Flora was receiving the waste from the drill it is fair to assume that it is being brought to Ringaskiddy for decontamination and disposal. If they are just above the reservoir they will case this section and then drill through the cap rock (if they have not already drilled through it) The icemax is now being served by another PSV, Edda Frenda and one could assume that as they drill through the reservoir they will want to keep this separate to all other material for testing. So as the Donkey said in Shreck, "Are we nearly there yet" my answer to that we must be bloody close. NK" | tommy241
27/7/2017 07:31 | Comment from UJO poster... Drilling at Holmwood penciled in for H2 - just speculating here, but possibly using the same rig as UKOG have been using at Broadford Bridge (given the proximity). If that were the case then potentially imminent. | guesswhosback
27/7/2017 00:16 | TD tomorrow with Icemax is baloney. They haven't even reached Druid yet and Drombeg is hundreds of meters deeper still. GLA | phoebusav
26/7/2017 17:03 | It's only Wednesday, lads. | fardels bear
26/7/2017 15:34 | Great volume this week. | guesswhosback
26/7/2017 15:30 | Looks like an exciting weekend ahead ... here's hoping for good news. | jusmasel99
26/7/2017 15:28 | Herm, Well GS did increase by a few million on the run up to the drill which was surprising as you say its not like the instis to take on risk like that. But I guess they'll be in for the long haul if Druid/Drombeg don't go the way we hope. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 15:28 | herm - thats pretty interesting info - any idea about hc's (shows)? I think everyone know's my opinion! | dunderheed
26/7/2017 15:26 | Ed, Icemax is very fast. Was expecting TD by tomorrow but could be few days late!!! No insti would put money in as afraid to lose face. | hermana3
26/7/2017 15:24 | UKOG share price just dropped significantly in a 2 minute period. Was looking good a few minutes ago, now not so!Still can't believe we are down today in comparison to others but hey ho! | cheek212
26/7/2017 15:22 | Herm, That would be very rapid progress for 1750m in that water depth in just a little over 2 weeks. Its hard to say too as the money flow is just pi based. If the little blighter was on the TSX we'd have a better idea. But if its 28% porosity sandstone and it contains the volumes that PVR suggests on their website it should be pretty bloody obvious on the LWD and cuttings if there is live oil in that 80-90m. Not long to wait according to your source. Fingers crossed the money fountain will arrive and we'll avoid unexpected turbulence from a water fountain! :) Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 15:15 | Ed, Impeccable. Didnt put any great emphasis on last leg taking time but he aint a technical boy. Neither am I btw, lol. | hermana3
26/7/2017 15:12 | Herm, Is your source reliable? Because slowing the last 100m means only one thing to me and that's reservoir preservation. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 15:09 | Ed, Last bite will be slow. RNS on Monday morning is my guess. | hermana3
26/7/2017 15:07 | Herm, Well if I were a betting man I'd be looking out for an RNS late Friday or up with shoes shined first thing Monday morning. If they're slowing ROP for the last 100m then that's particularly interesting if accurate. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 15:04 | That would suggest they have penetrated the top Fan?Still no leak! | ngms27
26/7/2017 15:01 | Ed, Last 100 metres. Wont be taking cores as keen to get onto Drombeg. Total dont like wasting money and time is money. | hermana3
26/7/2017 15:00 | Herm, Good lord man, perhaps wait until the flow rates before you make a declaration like that. I no longer hold that out of control Juggernaut at the moment but money flow still suggests a +ve result but lacks upside for re-entry. Even a stunning flow rate would have its work cut out to support their cap. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 14:56 | Jus,De lunatics are running that particular asylum. Not commercial. | hermana3 |
