Jelly, I have a feeling they will not be heard of again in their present guise. yes they certainly ramped, but imho not totally for personal gain, if they knew what we think they knew the only motive could have been to lay a smokescreen! Or they were philanthropists, or it was coincidence. Either way I am happy and watching ncs.

Mealiff, I had 4000 bought Friday. check out Lord B threads on fbb, he is also tipping ncs. Could be coincidence, maybe not, i`me in, worth a gamble imho. p.s. what about the date, or maybe no nw200 in 2001?

Can anyone help me understand a little about how the mm's cope with a situation like this today ? ie a very large (presumably unexpected ?) volume of trades in an illiquid stock.

Seems to me they must be massively short now.

My reasoning is that 432k shares were traded today and they were mostly buys I suspect. The co only has a total of 3.5m shares in issue and more than 50% of these are held by major shareholders. Therefore a very large proportion of the free float was traded today

Who checks up on the mm's short positions ? Will the price have to come down now to bring out the sellers and allow the mms to close ? Over what period ? Is there anything to stop the mm's staying short for weeks/months etc ?

Any thoughts please.

Its probably because they are a lot larger than the nms. Its such a potty little company that the nms is only 500 according to my info. Coincidentally this does make it perfect for a pump and dump scenario.
