Resignation of Chief Executive Officer

eServGlobal (AIM:ESG & ASX:ESV), the provider of end-to-end mobile financial services to emerging markets, announces that Paolo Montessori, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of eServGlobal Limited, is stepping down with immediate effect. The Board thanks Mr Montessori for his contribution during his time with eServGlobal and wishes him well for the future.
The Board has initiated a search for a successor to Mr Montessori from a global executive search company.
Stephen Blundell, Chief Operating Officer and board member, will assume overall executive responsibility for the company until Mr Montessori's successor has been appointed. Mr Blundell will report to the Chairman and to the Board.
The Board has appointed Stephen Baldwin to be Deputy Chairman. Mr Baldwin, an existing board member, is resident in Australia and in particular, will be responsible for our relationships with our Australian shareholders.
