Appointment of Executive Chairman

eServGlobal (AIM:ESG & ASX:ESV) ), the provider of end-to-end mobile financial services to emerging markets, announces the appointment of John Conoley as Executive Chairman of the Company.
John Conoley is based in the UK and has been a Non-executive Director of the Company since April 2013. The Board believes that it needs to provide executive support for Stephen Blundell (Chief Operating Officer) and the management team.
John has been a successful CEO of a publicly listed company (Psion plc.) and has established relationships with a number of eServGlobal's major UK shareholders. John has significant experience of operational and strategic leadership in the IT and Telecommunications sector, particularly around direct and indirect sales channels, change management and strategy development.
The Board believes that the combination of an Executive Chairman and Chief Operating Officer is currently the appropriate leadership team for the Company and will therefore be discontinuing its search for a new Chief Executive Officer in 2015.
Duncan Lewis will continue to act as a Non-executive Director of the Company.
