These were over 5p two years ago and over 9p the year previously. However, there's obviously been some dilution since then through placings.

However, this still has quite a high speculative component attached to it, until the Company prove that they are at least operationally profitable. That according to ERU should be this year. However, I look at the current share price as reflecting that speculative aspect of the business already and see the recent Contracts as evidence that the restructured sales force is delivering. The nature of the Contracts is also interesting with the NHS one last year hopefully opening up more opportunities in the healthcare sector. The Bristol Airport one will also be seen as higher profile and should help the salesforce present a stronger case to other potential customers.

We should see a rise in the short term off the Company Results expected in June, especially if the recent contracts have resulted in the claims for profitability this year, being realized already.

I'm hoping for further Contracts to materialize and a roll out of the initial Ealing Hospital deal in 2010.

Regarding actual figures, it's difficult to say. A large Contract would obviously impact the share price in a very big way and I think the Company's recent progress puts them on a better footing to win those sorts of deals.

Accepting the speculative aspect of this stock, I'm looking to build up a larger position here as I think the potential could easily result in a multiple appreciation of the share price It wont be overnight but I expect the Results to be a good start and further Contracts to materialize.

Then again, I might be wrong but worth the risk for me anyways.

Gla!

Not exactly transformational money...

But always encouraging when existing "blue chip"
clients come back for more.

An interesting article;

I4S video: major contract win for Eruma's explosion-proof blinds

18 May 10

By Anthony Hildebrand

Eruma plc has won a significant contract – through its subsidiary Security Blinds Ltd – to install its Secur security blinds at a major international organisation in the Middle East.

The contract is worth US$192,898 and will provide enhanced bomb-blast protection for a secure and prestigious facility in Beirut, Lebanon.

A statement from Eruma said: "The Secur product is an ideal solution for counter terrorism due to the high level of protection it provides buildings to mitigate the effects of a bomb blast.

"In addition to protecting the windows themselves, the occupants and contents, Secur is also effective against intruders."

Superbly named Eruma chief executive Wayne Money said: "Following on from our recent £380,000 contract win with Bristol Airport for energy efficient lighting systems, this deal demonstrates the renewed success of Eruma's sales strategy.

"In two deals we have secured over half a million pounds of revenue and we are delighted that our two trading entities, Security Blinds and Illuminex, are in a position to commandeer these major contract wins.

"Indeed, we have installed Secur in a variety of establishments, including premises occupied by the UK police force, where protection of life and critical infrastructure are paramount to maintaining national and regional security."

Secur has been tested by the Ministry of Defence and the following videos show footage of the blinds resisting a 100kg and 500kg bomb under test conditions - roughly equivalent to a car bomb and a lorry bomb respectively.

We obviously don't know the extentn that the recent contracts would contribute towards the overheads, although the Company are looking towards being operationally profitable in 2010. Whether that transpires to be the case or not remains to be seen, however the restructured sales force may now be delivering on the contracts to make such an objective viable.

I think the current share price refelects a degree of uncertainty although a considerable upside if the Company are beginning to get their ops sorted. A great potential in the sector anyway!

well, I imagine the individual contracts make some contribution to overheads - but presumably nowhere near enough to cover the overheads yet.

the level of contract announcements still seems painfully low. it doesn't seem that partner PPR is doing much better.

another cash raiser seems inevitable to me.

Mcap - £1m or so.

These are starting to look rather undervalued...

holkham,

We all know that many AIM listed companies are badly run by bumbling, incompetent directors, lacking even rudimentary business skills, only interested in trying to make themselves rich. We also know that AIM governance and regulation is virtually non existent.

With respect, nobody forced you to buy into Eruma. The company's fundamentals have never been more than vaguely promising. The share price went up on hot air and came down when realism began to dawn. A classic case, if you are a short term investor, of getting in, then out on the temporary rises in the share price

The best thing that could happen to Eruma, would be to be taken over by a decently run company like Westminster Group. I did mention it to Eruma's CEO but, as ever, got no reply.

One thing you have to remember. A company like this and it's operators are not interested in it's shareholders and or the share price Being a listed firm is simply a means to an end. Access to mug punters funds who will time after time cough up to keep these guy's in the lifestyle they've become accustomed to.

holkham,

Brian how are you?

I merely mentioned that an unknown person had dumped those shares at 0.40p and in the process, no doubt, took a large hit. Shades of Vislink etc in 2000 perhaps.

It certainly wasn't me selling, since I disposed of my remaining holding in 2008 at 9.22p a share. How prescient!

Your golf might be better then mine, but it appears your investment strategy so far as Eruma is concerned is way below par. Must try harder.

carolopp,

Some good info and reinforces my belief that Eruma will experience a significant growth from its current level.

However, theres' quite a few posts here and difficult to take in all the factors relevant to the Company's success or failure. Might be worth looking at individual aspects of the business and exploring them rather than a ream of info. We can then look more closely at whether the company justifies a bullish attitude towards its future prospects or has major defieciencies which may have been overlooked.....just a thought

As far as I can see, they've already secured Contracts with the Police, NHS and recently Bristol Airport with a view to being operationally profitable this year. They're products also have a market Internationally which the Company are looking to actively explore. Pentagon Protection already operate in a wider market and their strategic alliance with them should help facillitate that.

Although we'll need further contracts to materialize, ERU does look like a great little prospect for future appreciation, addressing its products towards rapidly expanding sectors.

Will they be able to capitalize on the Contracts already secured though and how realistic are the Company's aims towards achieving operational profitability in 2010?

Great potential, imo, but definately need to see a few more contracts to validate that optimism.

gl!

Thank you for your input guys.

I don't agree with your conclusions, as there seems nothing to substantiate them. Quite the opposite in fact with regards to the prospects for the Company moving into profitability. They have certain unique features associated with their products and are operating in a positive socio/economic environment to facillitate an uptake of these.

I do agree that there does seem to be some 'enthusiastic' posting here. The share doesn't actually need it and wouldn't benefit from any 'spike' in the share price To me it seems oversold and would benefit from a more gradual appreciation, giving further contracts time to materialize and hence validating or not its potential in the sector.

In the meantime I'll build up my own position, with a view to the next set of Results being more positive and benefitting from the recent contract aquisitions.

Have a good weekend all!

What gave you that impression?

I take it the procedures adopted by Ealing Hospital and Bristol Airport in assessing the Illuminex product and Company, didn't come up with the same conclusion!
