That's right paulie1 it's all sorted and it's just the timescales that have changed - instead of 2 months it's now a couple of years, which is wonderful news, retirement planning can start as it is definitely happening...hopefully. We're now eagerly awaiting the Peak update.

That deal ran out on Nov 30th and was extended by three months to Feb 29.

Bookies not offering much on the next inevitable extension beyond then....

Peak and Equator signed the Settlement Agreement in May 2015. It gives Peak 6 months to source the funding.

Same question Kod (this is from website).

Mr K any update on Peak?

Thanks.

Read Michael Grunberg see who's name pops up in 4th paragraph....

I was at an EEL meeting a couple of years ago and was asking who the people were that boarded the ship and if anyone had been brought to account. Stacy Kievel said "I know what you are going to say, it was an inside job and we did it" or words to that affect. Well I wasn't going to actually say that but Phil knows who they were but wouldn't say.

They were running 9 5/8 casing when they were boarded they hadn't well tested at that point so effectively the semi was taken over prior to discovering the pay

Interesting your theory on it being an inside job though

Too close to shore made it easy pickings

Nigeria is talking to the World Bank about an emergency loan to cover the country's growing budget deficit. The Nigerian economy has been hit hard by the collapse in oil prices and the World Bank says it has been asked for $2.5bn, with a further $1bn reportedly sought from the African Development Bank.

Oil accounts for around two thirds of government revenues. Razia Khan of Standard Chartered says "we shouldn't be very surprised by this" need for money.

Whats the chances of us getting a dividend from the signiture bonus Mr.k?

Has this been spoke about or can it be?

Could be a little sweetner to keep us content whilst we wait a couple more years for the big money.

I know some wealthier people would rather leave the cash in EEL to stop the ridiculous interest rate.Maybe if a dividend was issued those who dont want it could lend it back to EEL at 8%.That would please Oando :)

Relisting will and should be a long ways off unfortunately. Look at the market caps of ERHC Energy and Eco Atlantic. $10mm USD or less. They both have undrilled blocks. EEL should be relisted when the company has some reserves.

The Company originally floated on the Aim market in December 2004 at £1 giving it a market cap of £113 million. The share price rose rapidly to peak in 2006 at around £4. There are now 481 million shares in issue so if it had the same flotation value it could be floated at 23.5p per share. But given the prospectivity of the EEZ blocks, the fact that we now have a farm-out agreement with Kosmos in place and OML 122 and the OPLs on the sidelines, an share price of around 4 times this amount (ie £1) would not be unrealistic bearing in mind as well the SLG's calculation of an eventual share price of £5.90.
Re post 63592 I do not regard the OER listing on the TSX and a potential EEL listing as being similar:
1)An AIM listing would be far cheaper than the TSX listing.
2)The Company could float, Oando could place up to 30% of its shares and still retain a majority holding but raise, at £1 a share, £144 million in the process.
