Got to be a change in sentiment to get share price moving. Only 2 issues to get ENQ out of the poo, one is POO, visible to all, the other is level of production which is not and can be influenced by external factors weather, technical etc . Pretty simple really IMHO, ENQ is a risky punt on those two coming together positively for a sustained period of time to stabilise the company financially and change the market's attitude. Cheers Richard.

Bullish if eventually "Head & Shoulders" is completed

Retracement after reaching the last high 23.50p, the Fibonacci 38.2% has been met this morning, on moving to 50% @ 19.35p that would be just good to be around a few days at those prices ( going the right shoulder) and then bounce to last intraday high 23.50p and BREAKOUT.

The bounce after doing the right shoulder, and then BREAKOUT should take the share price to 29.50/29.75p.

How it works
15.25p bottom to 22.50p top neck = 7.25p
The rise after BREAKOUT
22.50 +7.25p = 29.75p

Brent took an early fall and ENQ share price just fell on low volume bots (in the absence of any buying)

Brent is now bouncing back so confident of 21p again later in the day.

Gotta buy the dips I guess knowing current production is at record levels.

ENQ 20.87p -0.61p

It looks like she wants to test the support of the last 3 weeks once again, has twice touched that point and bounce, if not then will test other supports further down.
Will see what happens this time as Brent Oil is weak this morning.

Wierd fall this morning on low volume. Cannot see a reason for it so I've just bought back my trusty 50k @ 20.42p

I await the bounce back and next operational update which will show vastly improved Kraken production on Brent prices north of $70 !

It's all kicking off in Venezuela today, could the end be nigh for the dictator Maduro?
There were reports his plane was ready to depart to Cuba this morning but the Russians stopped him.

Venezuela is sitting on vast resources of oil, it is only the corrupt dictatorship that has stopped that oil being exploited due to the cash from sales being diverted.

Imagine how quickly that oil could be back online given the infrastructure in place should the Yanks give the industry a cash injection to help the people and of course the president elect.
Well worth keeping an eye on.

Another poor day here with low volumes despite the earlier oil rally.
I won't comment on the API numbers but will instead wait for the more reliable EIA report tomorrow.

It is still looking like a hold (off) buying until around the operations update in my opinion.

Good luck in the morning.
Did the tanker do a U turn?
Good job the market doesn't care!

Appreciate you posting those (presumably) pay-walled opinions Leoneobull.

They set out ENQ's dilemma quite well: a race to reduce debt on the back of Kraken production at the recovered oil-price before any one of a number of calamities might kick in. Alternatively if Kraken production is reliable perhaps part can be divested for cash to reduce debt. (That would produce an immediate re-rate, and it is why I hold.)

Lundin may be better rated than ENQ because of Johan Sverdrup. Johan Sverdrup (which Lundin discovered) also figures into the Detnor Aker-BP tie up which made sense for BP when the majors were fleeing the mature North Sea in the oil-price downturn. Aker are well run, and they had 49% of Detnor who had a share of Johan Sverdrup. Lundin is part owned by Equinor, again possibly because of Sverdrup, and again after an asset swap in which a major backed out of exploration/development in return for an equity interest.

Over $1 UP earlier $72.78
now
over $1 DOWN to $71.58
and with that ENQ is also back down from the earlier rise.

Brent oil $72.48 +0.94

That is very close to the movement of $1 UP and DOWN that usually does
