RNS Number:1043S Ennstone PLC 17 November 2003 ENNSTONE PLC ("Ennstone" or the "Company") Preferred Supplier for A92 Dualling Ennstone is today pleased to announce it has been selected by Morgan Est plc to supply and lay 250,000 tonnes of asphalt for the dualling of the A92 between Dundee and Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland. The Company estimates the total value of this project to be #9.0m. Ennstone Thistle, Ennstone's Scottish subsidiary, has signed a contract with Morgan Est plc to supply and lay asphalt for construction work on the project until September 2005, when it is due to complete. Construction, which is being carried out by Morgan Est plc through a PFI agreement with Angus Council, has commenced and materials will start being supplied from March next year. Vaughan McLeod, Chairman, commented: "This contract is the largest contract to be placed in Northern Scotland for twenty five years.
