                        Appointment of Financial Adviser


The Board of Ennstone plc ("Ennstone") has today appointed Dresdner Kleinwort
Wasserstein ("DrKW") as joint financial adviser to the Company to work alongside
Altium Capital.


At the time of the preliminary results in March, the Board stated that it would
continue to focus on maximising shareholder value and continue to look at all
strategies that would meet that objective.


The appointment of DrKW, at a time of ongoing consolidation in the industry,
will greatly assist the Company in assessing and taking advantage of
opportunities as they arise.
