RNS Number:9422W Eurocity Properties PLC 7 June 2002 Eurocity Properties PLC ("Eurocity" or "the Company") The Directors of Eurocity announce that Panther Securities PLC ("Panther"), the Company's largest individual shareholder, has made a loan to Eurocity in the sum of £326,000. The loan is secured on the asset of the subsidiary company Eurocity (Crawley) Limited. The term of the loan is six months and it carries interest at 3% over base rate. The purpose of the loan is to pay the amounts outstanding to Netcentric Systems Plc, being the outstanding consideration from the original purchase of the property. The effect of this payment is to secure the Company's ownership of the Crawley property. The loan is a related party transaction by virtue of Panther's shareholding in Eurocity. The Company's independent Director, Nicholas Jeffrey, having consulted with the Company's nominated adviser, considers that the terms of the loan are fair and reasonable insofar as the holders of its AIM securities are concerned. 7 June 2002 This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange
