given that Western Canadian Coal have bought Cambrian mining... why don't they just buy this.... Cambrian have a massive stake in it... would be something of a tidying up exercise...

Er, no slap, MMs buy on the bid and sell on the ask. Hence the phrase 'bidding up' for stock. Similarly, you and I could buy on the bid etc if this were a SETS stock.

I would guess update next week or early July.... hard to know.... not sure will have much info just production and trading statement..... but should allow us to pretty much know what full-year results will be which I think are in September....

Seems coal demand is good around the world too

Teck Cominco bullish on Chinese coal demand

Teck (TSX:TCK) has cancelled planned temporary coal production shutdowns at several operations in order to meet increased Chinese demand.



Based on the progress of Teck's coal contract settlements, the Vancouver-based miner updated its coal sales guidance to the upper end of the previously announced range of 18 million to 20 million tones.


Teck announced it has completed negotiations with more than 80% of its traditional customers, at pricing consistent with the previously announced settlements at US$128 per tonne for Teck's highest quality coal products.

Lasta - all positive... however, these small caps can be a slow burn...

early July we should get trading update... September we should get interims...

So wait, wait and more waiting.....

But chart doesn't look bad I would agree with that although it is a very illiqued stock and has been tipped in lots of places so one must be cautious on interpreting the chart...

new seven month high.. should easily make 25p and hopefully breach 30p in next few months if production is going to plan at this little Welsh miner

very illiquid stock so if they do manage to do what they say they will do they will probably fly...

have a small position but probably won't buy more as this is a relatively risky investment.... could easily double or triple from here though...
