Don't know if the two are related, but I know EIT holds a patent for sensing movement and temperature variation within a trailer - apparently it dates back to the late 90's.

Tfc do not have anything to do with Cyh. Cyh use a product from Copilot after they binned TFC. TFC have no claim what so ever on Cyh. Fleetstar is owned by Cyh.
You say I tend to over egg.... What have I posted that is not in the public domain. The management have stated they will meet the 19 million turnover and that figure was produced prior to the last profit making acquisition. It is fair to assume that a PE of 6 will produce a rise for an expanding company.

Most of the market is in the temperature controlled environment already, another wont make much difference.

Keep an eye on the temperature controlled road transport market....they might have spotted an opening.

They are indeed. Once more IMHO.

Excellent sales and marketing hiding a weak technology. They are loosing customers hand over fist and not adding them at the same rate.

The chap that set them on that rocky road left and set up masternaut.
And they say history is bunk.

Maybe I am wrong and there is medium term money to earn...but not for me.

Seems like you've done your homework on this one Z. Minor Planet are an interesting bunch though.

Again, (imho) EIT will only ever get contracts with the small or the unwary. No one doing any due dilligence would sign with them.

CHY don't own their solution end to end which is a weakness given TFC (their supplier) entering the market direct. Their performance has been skillfully managed by some acquisions (one a year just prior to year end) that obfuscate.

The fact is that for the investor looking for a reasonable return EIT are too scary and CHY have delivered no return in three years (although LP keeps promising and TL keeps knocking).

Whilst I enjoy this market and the technology is interesting (check out Zigbee)
CHY, EIT and lets include Trakmate; Minor Planet (and Masternaut when they go public) will earn cash for their management but nothing for we punters.

Hi Fap,
Have a look at EIT's stats. 2 mil od replaced with loan....three desperate non exec directors bunging in another mil for working capital. Check out the ratio of non tangibles. What was the turnover on a 680k loss?????.....speaking from memory now, so please correct me if I've got any of this wrong.

Fired the CE but gave him another job undermining his replacement!!!!

They have cost me enough already. If you are brave enough to run with that lot and finish up on the right end...then you deserve every penny.

Wow! Came on this thread looking for a view on Eagle? A lot of "partisan" comment towards CYH. Totally confused? Punt on both?

Thanks Zigbee, LP does appear somewhat partisan! Is Viatel an insider too?

Hitek, in the interest of a balanced approach LP has been promising CYH will earn its investors some reasonable returns for three years and nothing yet.

LP is CYH's creature and tends to...... over egg (IMHO)

many posters have been in for several years now and the story at Cyh is just beginning. After 3 major acquisitions in the last year the business has now achieved scale and is set this year to largely exceed the 19 million confirmed expected turnover. The PE will be slashed as we are expecting a 1.5 million profit which is triple last years. There is much going on behind the scenes and some high profile contract wins have recently gone through. I can see no reason why the share price won't make solid progress in the next 6 to 12 months.
I can not see much else of interest in the sector, most of the real competition is in the private sector.
Good luck.

Thanks LP. Your obviously a fan. Looks a bit rollercoaster to me. Do you expect another up cycle shortly? I'll have a speculative punt anyway. Who else is interesting in the sector?

If you are in to telematics you need to look at Cyh. Capped at 13 million for four companies in the group. They will turnover atleast 19 million this year and are likely to make 1.5 million profit. They are market leaders in Marine/fishery tracking, positioning for mining and exploration they also have 40000+ units in vehicles for telematics applications.
Good luck

Their products are old hat...there is no innovation and nothing in their development pot.

To sell a simple tracking device and make money they will need to do a Wallmart.....and they can't afford it.

They simply have not kept abreast of technology.....and in my humble opinion will pay dearly for it.

The current unenlighted CEO is too busy looking over his shoulder, and the old one still remains on site and is a negative as ever.

I'd love to know what the non exec. director and his two colleagues know that we don't for them to feel it's worthwhile cause to throw a mil at.

The banks have decided to minmise the risk and converted 100% of the overdraft to a loan and I'm always highly suspicious when the intangibles are so high.

With so little innovation and IP in the place where is all the good will and latent worth hidden?

To coin a phrase, for that reason alone....I'm out.

Even if they were double turnover each year it would take 5 years to reach value at todays shareprice. That is assuming they make some profit at some stage to pay off the debt.
