14/8/2007 12:30 | Those that paid 5p will be taking the reality pill by now. Can't say they weren't warned. LOL. | ![]() lucky punter

10/8/2007 21:23 | The sector is full of flakey TSP's. I certainly do not rate Thales as Flakey though. There are many with massive overheads and no real turnover. I do not understand the potential to retain 30% over the next three years. Both companies have won substantial contracts for their special operations and the vehicle telematics have been migrated to the Cybit system producing scale. Cyh now have 35000 units and have recently increased their capacity to 100000 units. It is still very small compared to the available UK market at about 10% saturation. Cyh have broadened their offering rather than their geographical coverage as MPS did. EIT's share price is holding because three people hold 94% of the company and probably have control over the most of the remaining 6%. It all means very little as they can not sell any of the 94% without it all collapsing. Meanwhile the company bleeds money. | ![]() lucky punter
10/8/2007 19:56 | LP; quite right, the sector isn't rated as highly today as it was in 2003. Why? Possibly because the market now realises that the CYH, MPS and EIT direct sales models are incapable of making any serious penetration of the EU's 22 million CV's. OK, CYH buy 2 flakey TSP's with a combined installed base of circa 13,000 and the potential to retain up to 30% over the next three years - impact on market share - zip, impact on market sentiment - zip. The market has discounted the emergence of any telematics gorilla and is now rating these businesses on more traditional metrics - as you suggest. So why is EIT's share price holding? Has EIT developed some technology or business model or route to market that can achieve serious market reach? Just a thought - could be a million miles off. DYOR. | pachnes
10/8/2007 07:36 | Pachnes If you know anything about the history of the sector you will know that up the end of 2003 the sector was rated at a much higher level than it is today. Have EIT announced a partnership. No. Did the LEX partnership produce very much. No. Have Cyh massively improved their product since then, moved into profit, increased the customer base by 1000%, acquired two major competitors, built 512k per month of recurring revenue. YES. Have EIT done anything since then. NO. Well except to get 4 million in debt and shrink their turnover to a ridiculously small amount. Also note that you evidence the rise in Cybit in 2003. They then fell for the next three years by 80%. So your point is what exactly. The reason the share price has risen is that 94% of the shares are held by three people, who have just leant the company £1m at 12% interest. I suspect that the bulk of the remaining 6% is held by acquaintancies of the three. The company is a DOG. Look at the product and the sales record. When was the last time they announced a contract?. | ![]() lucky punter
10/8/2007 06:58 | LP; CYH; 23 Jul 03 - share price 28p, 23 Oct 03 - Lex partnership announcement - 03 Nov 03 - share price 216p - mcap £25m? Just a thought. | pachnes
09/8/2007 21:10 | I expect you are waiting. Not a lot will happen until somebody trades though, will it. Whilst we wait how about explaining to me why EIT is worth 7 million pounds or 11 million if you include the debt. | ![]() lucky punter

03/8/2007 15:10 | Here comes that noisy collapse. Back to 1p. | ![]() lucky punter
31/7/2007 13:50 | Would have to agree - EIT is a non-entity in the sector so would have no effect if it went to the wall. | ![]() bonio10000
31/7/2007 11:00 | Colcard - simple, there is none. Results Group turnover for the year ended 30 November 2006 was #1,056,000 (2005: #861,000) with a loss before tax of #869,000 (2005: #617,000). The Group continues its product innovation and achieved a growth in sales and gross margin whilst maintaining overheads consistent with the previous year. New marketing and sales initiatives are to be implemented over the next 12 months to target an overall increase in revenues. | ![]() bonio10000
31/7/2007 10:18 | why no explanation of the rise in sp? | colcard

27/7/2007 09:22 | Wait for the RNS re major share holders. I suspect they will be recovering some of their million pounds loaned from the small punter. I certainly would in their position. | ![]() lucky punter

27/7/2007 08:56 | Zigbee Do you think this is a genuine rise. There are lots of silly little trades that will never really make any money but anything larger does not go through or only goes through at a stupid price. A couple of days ago the share price was at 3.5p and someone paid 5p to get a few thousand pounds worth. The share price has risen yes but is there any real money to be made?. | ![]() lucky punter
27/7/2007 08:49 | Zigbee This company's stock is totally illiquid hence the rise and while they might have a couple of Ex Cybit employees in tow rest assured they will have been tied to contracts with CYH...As for possibly being weaker Look at the balance sheet and you will get the message loud and clear...There is only one winner here and its not EIT!! | ![]() ant15
27/7/2007 08:48 | Zigbee I love the bit about being possibly the weaker company/product. The case is simple read the company information. If the share price rises its because some people have bought and with 6% tradeable in the market it only takes a few pounds from their previous cap, the sheep money does the rest. Its a long way back down as many others have found. TFC and MPS had wrecked the telematics sector in the past with the stupid share prices blowing all long term confidence, its happening again here. | ![]() lucky punter
27/7/2007 08:09 | This bickering between Ursa and LP sounds like two Hens protecting their Chicks. These things are investment vehicles (sic) for growth, who is better, wiser, slicker is less important than "what can I earn?" On the evidence EIT, whist possibly being the weaker company/product is actually wiping the floor with Cybit... for those interested in cash. Getting too embedded distorts perspective. | zigbee |
