PS It was interesting to see that gold spike that immediately preceded the attack. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I do remember the positions apparently taken ahead of the twin towers so it does make one think!

I flick in and out of LSE because amongst the posts there is some good stuff especially from AGEOS. It has gone down hill though recently as with ADVFN. I may cancel my sub here as I think admin should do something about it and don't seem to be bothered. I understand the point was mainly about timing of news but I think it is fair to comment on the broader market on occasions as there are times when the holistic picture can overshadow local news. At the moment we have the spectre of inflation still present but at the same time strengthening metal prices probably largely due to russian sanctions.

Thanks Geko but as I said it was about the timing of releasing EEE news more than anything else so absolutely no credit due to me. I see Cev is running his mouth over on LSE but has conveniently been absent here on this particular thread, clearly now hiding away from the points put to him and the requests to back up his opinions. He's happy to post but can't handle a proper debate nor can he stand over his own views. Pity really, I was looking forward to being enlightened ;-)ML

Yes interesting! And the S and P did have a weak day (not disastrous but weak) roughly in line with your modified prediction I'd say. So credit where it's due!
