I don't get this. The Saudi announcement was that TransOcean Minerals had just made a strategic investment in Empire and that this was an "important milestone" for the company. But then when you look at the TRI, which was posted soon after, it reveals that actually TransOcean wasn't a new shareholder at all, it was an existing small shareholder. The new shareholder was Al Timini p.a, who it now transpires was a legacy shareholder in Georgian Mining which was a completely different project. It was a copper-gold mining venture in Georgia, also led by Neil O'Brien, that seems to have collapsed.

Yes. At that time the main asset was in Georgia and Mike Struthers was CEO. People were concerned when Struthers left and they divested of the Georgian asset. I was not concerned and welcomed SB with his very firm emphasis on Australian assets. One of the main issues was scale and PI's were concerned that by losing Georgia they had lost scale. To an extent this was true but they had also lost the yoke of having to deal with the Georgians (no offence intended but...). Anyway it was clear that SB wasn't thinking 'small' even though Struthers said small could be good. I understood why he said it but anyway all water under the bridge now. Because now they have scale (huge), a safe and established mining jurisdiction to work in, and quality. Not to mention a team worthy of a multinational.

Geko, the name Georgian Mining comes on the news links. Was there a name change, was Empire previously called Georgian Mining?

Master RSI, To be fair in one of his posts on LSE AEGEOS specifically thanked posters from other boards and said that one of the reasons he posted was because his posts were appreciated on different platforms. I don't know whether he has an account or not but the inference was he read ADVFN. Anyway back to EEE...hopefully!...

Should you wash your face in the morning?
You needed it, your post says you did not.

Aegos is a resident at LSE not here.

A very naughty move by the MMs, a couple of buys and a 1p spread 8 v 9p after already being large at close yesterday.

The real prices paid are much better 8.311 v 8.639p

Thanks for copying that post and to AGEOS for writing it. I was hoping he would put something up and as expected his highly informed message is entirely in line with everything SB has been announcing through RNS and in presentations. Really one either believes the scientists for the likely outcome here or those with dubious credentials and even more dubious motives. Each to their own.
