Inflation-Wary Germans Are Loading Up on Gold(Bloomberg) --Many gold investors might be fretting over the prospect of the Federal Reserve curbing monetary stimulus, but Germans are still loading up.Demand for physical bullion in Germany, traditionally the biggest coin and bar buyer in Europe, was the highest since at least 2009 in the first half, World Gold Council data show. While purchases in other Western markets have also been strong, Germans in particular are pouring into the metal as a hedge against rising inflation -- and dealers say business remains good."We have a long history of inflation fear in our DNA. Now the inflation risk is picking up," said Raphael Scherer, a managing director at metals dealer Philoro Edelmetalle GmbH, whose gold sales are up 25% on what was already a strong 2020. "The outlook for precious metals is very positive."

That's a lot to be selling.Assuming they're actually sells because they're nearer the bid. Whereas that quantity to buy would likely have been above the ask.

bspgamer, they'd have to buy an awful lot to get us back above 2p....

The reality is that Eclipse will not give any quick return on investment, and further funds will have to be spent to see if it's viable as a mine. 100% risk, no guarantees.

Which brings us to Central Menzies, that is also 100% risk, no guarantees.

If you then summarise the above we got a tiny company that is currently 100% risk, (great prospects), but no proven resources and a decade of failed exploration and lost money, the current MCap is quite ambitious if you ask me.

I doubt you'll see Struthers or Bunn putting any of their hard cash in here, but hey, happy to be proven wrong... lets see?

If not, the next piece of news I'm expecting is for EEE to expand the acreage at Eclipse to explore and try to get scale to the upcoming JORC. (just hoping that won't cost much $$$ up front this time..)

And the other, will be initial results from Menzies in what... 3-4months from now?
I'd be amazed if we won't touch 1p before then. But hey, here's to hoping...
