Anyone with an ounce of sense can see these are over sold. How many ounces of gold has GGP produced? They've produced nothing since listed! Empire are in the process of selling their Georgian assets for a total eqv of C$7m. Also from early exploration they're already almost at the JORC stage in less than a year from constant exploration drilling. As has been pointed out Mike has done a great job to secure gear and crew in Kalgoorlie area in a time of high gold prices. To get to the stage of met testwork ahead of the JORC in such short order is excellent work. Given the Georgian assets and Oz assets even a blind man could see how cheap these are.

Regards,
Ed.

Added a tiny bit more...

Still curious if there is any "real" progress behind the scenes around CEO/JV/Cand. Struthers was very quick yesterday to issue a "defence" RNS, but what we need urgently is GEO JV cash or Candelaria shares, and a CEO. I'm less worried about Eclipse in the short term.

The way I look at this is that it's priced as if we were expecting another placing, and frankly I'd hope this is not yet on the cards.

How long till production could start at Eclipse I wonder, if all the stars aligned...?

One big seller, selling for his own personal reasons. As soon as he has finished the shares will boom and traders will wonder why they missed it.

If this, or any other company exploring ends up as a mine! then from start of exploration to mining (assuming that the resource is proven in-situ) it takes anything from 8 to 10+ years and that is with everything going reasonably well. The journey from exploration, finding the resource to develop a mine, to planning including a EIAR, to production. Finance is never a problem if the resource is good, now I am not ramping or de-ramping as facts usually determine. Obviously a good CEO is important for any company going forward.

Oh dear GTA5 you can't come on here and tell the truth !I did that and they didn't like it !I agree with everything you say though.I smell a placing in the not too distant future. If and when they get another CEO, they would need to put their stamp on company finances, err, I mean company prospects.Good evening

Yes saracen3, except there isn't anything "Excellent" delivered yet. We don't have a new CEO, no news from Georgia and eventually JORC might be positive or... negative. All has been delayed and defferred, while costing millions of the raised funds over the years. Australian listing adds zero value to AIM holders but ends up diluting further, without new results necessarily.

The problem GEO/EEE has, is its years of mismanagement and broken promises. Struthers has admittedly kept it alive against all odds and is on the verge of turning it around, but the share price will only really recover if there are tangible results. I.e. GEO JV cash in the bank. Ounces of gold sold, Candelaria money in and a credible CEO delivering tangible results. In the meantime, all delay is hammering the share price and draining credibility.

I'm happy to be in at current prices, but it's not like this is a cashmaking machine that is undervalued. It's been a dog and is priced and valued as such.
The reason to be positive was on the credibility of Struthers and Eclipse, but struthers has left the CEO position and no one with equal or better credibility is left to steer the ship into production. 3p is quite reasonable with that in mind. JORC might help, but to really turn it around we need a lot more than words and estimates....
I also look forward to a new CEO and early production -if the numbers stack up-, but I won't be popping the champagne just yet.

As for leading a champagne lifestyle Struthers has actually been paid less than average for his role as CEO. As can be seen from the latest announcement he has served the company well and secured geologists and rigs when most companies are struggling to do so. There may be an element of fortune in this but I suspect it is largely down to his contacts and the respect he has in the industry. Finding turning points in these kind of companies is difficult and opportunities are presented in exactly the current kind of scenario. Personally I think his recent decisions are good ones. The pendulum clearly hasn't swung back to bull case yet but it wouldn't take much for it to happen and the shine come back to gold.

So we get news and it's not bad news. Initially 5% up but now falling back. Volume way too low to push this today and I suspect that it will turn red very soon and the MMS will take advantage of people who are wavering on the sell button. I will remain a holder.
