Eleksen Joins Apple's Made-for-iPod Program to Provide Streamlined and Expedited
Licensing and Product Development Facilities for Apparel and Soft-Goods
Accessories Manufacturers.


Eleksen Group plc ("Eleksen"), which makes smart fabrics that can be used to 
control electronic devices such as smartphones and MP3 players, today announced 
that it has signed an agreement with Apple Computer to become a member of the 
Made-for-iPod program.  The agreement allows Eleksen to manage end-to-end the 
licensing process with third-party apparel and soft-goods accessories developers.  
Previously customers had to negotiate the acquisition of the Made-for-iPod licence 
and purchase of the iPod standard connector directly with Apple and independently 
of their negotiations and developments for Eleksen's ready-to-integrate iPod 
product offering.


Eleksen has been active in supplying ready-to-integrate technology solutions for
licensees in Apple's Made-for-iPod program. As a licensee of the Made-for-iPod
program Eleksen has been empowered to work with manufacturers, designers and
retailers in the apparel and soft-goods segment to acquire the rights and
technology they need to launch iPod accessory products.


'Joining the Made-for-iPod program allows us to simplify the product development
process for customers who want to use Eleksen solutions to enter this exciting
market for iPod enabled apparel and soft-goods accessories,' explained Robin

customers interested in designing products for iPod we'll be able to streamline
the process and expedite their delivery of products into this market.'


This new facility from Eleksen makes it possible for customers to obtain from a
single source the Apple licence, connectors and Eleksen technology needed to
launch products, reducing the time to market and complexity associated with
managing this process. Customers can benefit immediately from this new service
offering from Eleksen.
