14/3/2016 22:59 | belgrano2, Even without the graphs we can still post here as ADVFN have left threads up for companies that have gone into administration / bust/ etc.. Fortunately I wasn't invested in any. EDG is on the TSX Venture Exchange (www.tsx.com/trading | bigt20
11/3/2016 23:17 | belgrano, Just sign up for google alerts, and input Edge Resources, and you will receive everything said about them. | andy
11/3/2016 19:19 | I'll wait a few months happily, need crude price to recover and its starting to edge up gently. i wont sell but will keep in btm drawer. ..only issue is communication, guess lse and ADVFN will stop showing this stock and all threads. | belgrano2
11/3/2016 11:30 | mark, O I understand now. Most UK brokers (Barclays, Hargeaves, TD) can trade Canadian stocks, so it shouldn't be a problem, although transferring them could take some time, and people may wish to review what happened to Medusa Mining holders that opted to transfer their stock and then had to wait an eternity before they could trade again! It took many months and the share price just kept on sliding. They were stuck holding a stock they were unable to trade! IMHO, if you really want to continue holding Edge, and your broker trades TSX stocks,it would be better to sell on AIM, and buy on the TSX. The only cost is dealing costs, but the huge benefit is there will be no delay in any stock transfer. You would not want to be in a position where you cannot trade the stock for several months, IMO, that's what happened with Medusa's transfer to an ASX only stock, with Computershare and TD blaming each other for the delay, if I remember correctly. You can ask on the MML thread, or review posts from the time. | andy
11/3/2016 08:46 | I don't care about paying more once on the TSX, I'll pay more for greater certainty that the company has overcome the immediate danger to continuation of business. I want assurances that the bank and EDE have agreed on future terms, I will wait to ensure that there's no third party lurking to buy cheaply by settling company debt once it's a Canadian venture only and thirdly I want to see stability of oil price improvement. I'm down a fortune at present, I'm willing to have a second stab but this time I'll cut down on the risk as much as is possible. I'll gladly pay more for the increased confidence, the price will still be low and still offer great growth prospects. Caution should be the watchword. | carpadium
11/3/2016 07:38 | I know Andy, just our move. My hope is the share are being played this side of the pond due to people reluctance to make the move. | mark10101
11/3/2016 05:45 | mark, There is no "move to the TSX", they are already quoted there. Belgrano2, What is the WTI price? | andy
10/3/2016 14:05 | Not letting them go that cheap, tried to buy some down here but they want 10% over mid price, looks like someone is mopping up for the shift to TSX. Only looking to buy a few hundred quids worth, equivalent to £5k where I built my holding.... | mark10101
10/3/2016 13:20 | especially with crude recovering brent over $41 a barrel today up 4%. Remind me guys what was edges break even price ??? | belgrano2
09/3/2016 12:13 | Yes its ironic that while Brad was eyeing up future acquisitions with the "new backer", he's possibly become the target himself when his new backer pulled the plug. Always bigger fish looking for cheap assets, especially with undrilled potential. Dont think we have a predator, but certainly if we're being given away someone will be interested. | belgrano2
09/3/2016 11:40 | Over the last few days it seems endless the amount of sells the market makers are absorbing, without dropping the price yet. They never act out of compassion, they must be under orders to acquire. For whom, well I would have thought a holding announcement, if needed at 25/30%? can't be far off. I don't expect an MBO but I do fear a third party attempting a deal with Edge's bankers and using that route to add pressure to the directors to concede. Hope I'm way off the mark with that theory. But at £400K market cap we are the distressed asset and could be taken private for a steal. | carpadium
09/3/2016 09:07 | OK, but one procedure follows the other, and the all-important fact is you cannot trade EDG on AIM after March 15 and there's absolutely no chance the de-listing won't go ahead. | carpadium
09/3/2016 08:58 | Suspension in March. Delisting in April. ...Edge has now taken the decision that, in light of the additional cost and regulatory burdens imposed upon the Company by having two quotations, it will not seek to appoint a new nominated adviser and therefore its admission to trading on AIM will be suspended from 7:30 a.m. on March 15, 2016... ...Under the AIM Rules, the Company's admission to trading on AIM will be cancelled on April 15, 2016 (the "Cancellation Date")... | adverse
