23/6/2015 20:19 | Jamesie, I didn't mention Edge's Q4, I brought up Q1, ie the current quarter about to finish in a weeks time, ie there's been a good two months in which a proactive leader could have commented on. We know how good it's been so why not capitalise on that, promote the company's prospects and add a little momentum to the share price, awareness that the company exists and is doing well? I've made my point because it concerns me, if it concerns no one else then so be it. | carpadium
23/6/2015 19:21 | Carp - our Q1 5015 [or end of year for EDG] wasn't great, they were at break even for most of it; EDG's fortunes have only just changed this current quarter [but in a big way] and continues today. There would have been no chance of any drilling if the year continued along the lines of Q1 2015. This current quarter which is likely to be reported on in Aug/Sept will be very good, aimho. | jamesiebabie
23/6/2015 18:54 | Well, the extremely buoyant Q1 netback situation springs to mind, he could have commented on this weeks back, but any CEO worth his salt constantly promotes on behalf of his shareholders, positivity should be a natural course to retain existing and attract fresh interest. Silence for so long surely doesn't make any sense to you, does it? With what we're earning it's the only reason I can see for being at this sad price. | carpadium
23/6/2015 18:19 | Carp - I'm not sure what you want BN to say; but I'm relatively confidant we will find out later this week. | jamesiebabie
23/6/2015 17:28 | 130K ISDX dump this morning explains drop, seller must have been aware of 'imminent' results etc so either desperate for funds or run out of patience with a CEO who flagrantly dismisses shareholders', and the market's needs for regular communications and so the share price deteriorates. Nearly 4 months now since public comment is tantamount to dereliction of duty imo. | carpadium
23/6/2015 13:18 | now what.....drops for the 3rd time in two days.....on what? | monkey puzzle
19/6/2015 20:04 | I suspect results towards the back end of next week. | jamesiebabie
19/6/2015 10:08 | MP...basic supply and demand mate. Due to low volume, anybody wanting to offload a reasonably large amount, let's say as little as 2-300k shares, which is nothing n terms of cash but everything in terms of recent daily volume, they will place the shares with the broker at a minimum sale price, hence anybody buying can keep doing so until those shares are all sold. After that, the mm's need to go to the market to meet any demand, hence the bid goes up to entice some sellers. aimvho, nice to see a bit of life in the sp! | lazarus2010
19/6/2015 09:27 | I am getting offered 4.6 to sell now.....fwiw | monkey puzzle
19/6/2015 09:24 | and it moves again....you MMs are a funny bunch...2 x 25k buys and up she rises, other days double or 3 x that and you do nothing.....oh well at least they going in the right direction at least....hopefully news next week. | monkey puzzle
19/6/2015 09:13 | Another 25k buy....people getting some in before next update | monkey puzzle
19/6/2015 09:07 | Doesn't take much to move these, but only when it suits the MMs.....strange the way they can ignore a ton of buys and do nothing, then a 25k buy and they move it up.... | monkey puzzle
18/6/2015 11:15 | Don't forget income from the Evian. | gary1966
18/6/2015 10:52 | MP Don't disagree with your figures, there'll also be interest costs etc so perhaps $2.5m. My guess is $2m cash generated from ops with about $200k generated in the 4Q. FWIW POO is still a negative influence on the share price That may change once the results are released next week (probably. | sleveen
18/6/2015 10:43 | Well fwiw I guess that at 350 bopd (oil) and $30 margin, that gives EDG $3.8m pa less down time days (maintenance etc) so probably $3m plus pa after costs at least + gas.....seems like the "market" can't be bothered to research the company at all on that basis as the Mcap looks way out of any sensible valuation? I always thought markets were meant to be forward looking but obviously not in EDG's case it would seem.....or am I missing something? | monkey puzzle
18/6/2015 08:06 | JB Don't forget EDG produce gas as well as oil so your figures should be boepd rather than just bopd. My guess is 300-350 bopd and 300-350 gas up to a combined total of 700 boepd if they open the taps. | sleveen
18/6/2015 08:00 | We're at 4.5p thanks to Brad's 3 month silence !! How much more weakness are you expecting Jb ?? :-)) | carpadium
17/6/2015 21:45 | 610bopd, maybe more as they had over 100bopd shut in, that is currently; the quarter about to be reported on, now that is a different matter as we were likely to have been around breakeven for most of the period and therefore EDG may have held back some more production. The scenario has changed markedly since April in EDG's favour, from one extreme to the other. Any weakness and I'll be buying some decent numbers. | jamesiebabie
17/6/2015 20:58 | What do think the bopd might be? | monkey puzzle
17/6/2015 20:37 | WCS still around CDN$64/bbl, less $30 for royalties and operating costs. Good money being made. | jamesiebabie
14/6/2015 21:33 | I suspect we will have end of year results within two weeks; the last quarter of the year will have been difficult and I'm not expecting it to look good, however, Q1 could well be the best yet for EDG, from bad to good within a month or so. I'm also hoping to see a drill campaign announced and it will also be good to see the impact of the water the disposal well in reducing costs; along with how much gas we are now selling from EH East. 11/6/2015 10:04 | Jan 28th... Edge Resources Inc. (“Edge” or the “Company” The completion of the Facility is expected to add at least $1.1 million in cash flow in the first year, which is expected to increase in the future with additional drilling. -------------------- so c.4 months of cash flow contribution, say $200-300k of net revenue? Also from that rns, b/e of US$30 WTI, and cash flow +ve at $32/bbl, so we are well above that figure and have remained above for the whole of 2015. Unless he's telling porkies we should have accumulated cash during this period? | lazarus2010
11/6/2015 09:56 | the WDW has been paid for already (from bank funding, I wonder if it was 100% or more like 30/70% EME/Bank?), so since that date we should (hopefully) be accumulating cash although a few months of this period were the worst in terms of WTI prices. Maybe the permitting process is in anticipation of having enough cash to pay for the drilling in the next month or so? With a reasonable expectation that due to declining US production, less or no bottleneck on Canadian supply to the US, higher demand at least through to end August, we should at least enjoy minimum 3 months of fairly decent revenues. Enough to cover 1.5 wells plus the use of some existing cash? Would be good to hear if we have any agreements for 3rd parties to share the WDW and generate additional revenues. | lazarus2010
11/6/2015 09:22 | Laz - it depends on whether or not we have carried out any other work; none of us knew about the water injection well last time or the new gas handling facilities which are allegedly producing significant gas volumes at Eye Hill. The hedge will have run out as of 31/3/15, which was at c.$90/bbl, but only for 70 bbls. | jamesiebabie
11/6/2015 09:00 | JB, I think (hope!) we should have enough cash available to cover the drilling costs of two wells by now? | lazarus2010 |
