As can be seen all the major shares are held by Nominees companies so really nobody gives a damn as probably theses nominees loan out the shares for shorter to short and make money and pay them good fees for shares they don't give two monkeys about!

No wonder Rufus is having a field day no one to challenge him!! He only holds a paltry 0.003% of the shares.

We (disgruntled) shareholder need club together to build up a sizeable shareholdings in order to vote Rufus out.

I know what you mean, but I don't think the Tanzanian government have a vested interest in keeping Rufus in his job. They want coal to be found and dug out and a power plant operational. If the government didn't think Edenville could get the job done then why accommodate them. I bet there are plenty of big mining and energy companies who would love to have what Edenville have. A JV will come and that's when everyone will say what a great company this is.

You may be right Whoppy..... but I just feel Rufus (on the evidence of his justification of the 20:1 split, plus his constant rhetoric about the power plant - which may just be a pip dream, as opposed to selling coal), is more intent on keeping this going as long as possible, drawing his inflated salary via placings, than actually delivery value for share holders. Why hasn't he bought shares by the boat load, or take 25% of his salary in shares ? Wouldn't you if you believed in the company - I know I would.

Stevie, yes I'm in property development and management and things can take bloomin ages to get agreements signed and deals done. Just have to be patient and make sure that everyone is on a win win to get agreements signed. Quite often everyone is in agreement and want to get on with things but getting all the legal paperwork can take ages. The main thing here is, we have the mining licence and the backing of the Tanzanian government. Rufus won't be looking at the share price everyday like we do.

I have & still do.... although it is a world away from mining / exploratory so of little relevence. What about you Whoppy, have you ? You always seem very upbeat about EDL, so would be interested in your views. The companies I have been involved in all created and had viable revenue streams (services & now producting / selling) - wages paid and accounted for.

Just out of curiousity, have any of you ever been in business? run a company etc?

Must admit any last drops of optimism I had here have now evaporated. Rufus seems determined to hang on here as long as he can, wages funded by placings. Why wouldn't he - he is on to a very good number. Only hope is replacing him (best option) or paying half his salary in shares.

But will that happen ? I doubt it. What this company needs is someone with drive to create a renenue stream, not in 5 years, but now..... perhaps someone paid 50% of their salary in equity.

Rufus needs to go.

All the evidence points that way. The 20:1 split was soley designed to enable further placings to pay Rufus's wages - all the way back to 0.02p if needed. Coupled with the refusal of BoD to buy shares. What conclusions can be drawn ?

To be fair to JP he does raise some valid points. What lets him down is that he insists on making those valid points over and over and over again. It's like an obsession which makes me question his motives.
