Response to that.Any merit at all in this?Farmers use products to fight things or enhance things.The law bans something so the farmer's supplier says "can't provide x or y but there's this new thing. Use that ."Farmers are business men , mechanics and hard workers and thinkers but the law might pre-empt the need for education in this regard? Whether industrial scale , family driven , or peasant with hoe.So might be a faster process?

Speaking today at the plenary panel ‘Pivotal Moments in #Biocontrol’ I spoke about the growth and progress being made but also the crowded market and mistakes being made when too enamoured with technology and not enough focus on providing value to the grower. Growers rate #biologicals very highly when they learn how to use them but ca. 50% of farmers still are quite unfamiliar with biologicals, underlining the need for education at the farmer level. #AI and #machinelearning and #genomics are dramatically aiding #biopesticide discovery and development but we’re at the early stages of the potential.

I would say that the market @3.9p has not recognised the shift yet but those speculators who pay closer attention and understand what Sam Etherington is referring to and how it applies to what Costa says about Ecovelex relative to Eden may well see considerable benefits when the inadequately informed 'market' finally recognises it's was using poor intel to judge price.

For what it is worth, I think there will be a small profit in 2025, with the step change in sales and profit following that.
Sadly until in profit, I don’t anticipate much movement in SP, although spikes on the impending news flow would be most welcome.

I've seen all that. I just don't price anything in until it comes. It makes sense not to treat anything as expected or a given. As for the share price predictions I enjoy thinking about this too, but first things first my only concern right now is how we get to profit and when. I am hoping but certainly not expecting it will happen in 2025. After that my concern will be to find out whether we see a continuation of, and a step change in product sales volumes. I think it will come but 3.9p tells me the market view is not convinced

we are now in the window of 18-24 months for full Ecovelux approval, as per the original RNS from Eden and the estimates for approval. There has also been plenty of Eden/Corteva chat and published material hinting that it is coming very soon.

And let's not forget Mr Abrey's recent comments.

Abrey Sept 24- Ecovelex .."so overall we see this as an opportunity that's actually bigger than Mevelone and Cedroz put together so around 34 million euros in the EU UK Alone we're looking at about 3.6 million euros a peak for this particular use we expect that to be a shorter time frame than three years to Peak because of those same drivers and we're very far through the process of seeking full approval for the product we've talked about the emergency use authorizations one of which we successfully received last year which led to a material sale of product to Cortiva so this is a big one for us we're very excited about it we've made a good amount of progress and that's it's been a really good project"

My take on it is at a minimum 2025+ 'very soon' refers to full EU approval of Ecovelex on Corn with other seeds to follow.
