Not my understanding Alchemy.
Eden need to wait till they receive reports back from their distributors and contract manufacturers regarding sales around the world.
Nevertheless, we will receive some sort of trading update in May with the prelims, if not before.

The 1st quarter invoices are all sent and in this internet era all delivered . So the FD and MD know the outcome and the growth ratios etc. That might be worthy of an update to go with the full results being confirmed. Mebbe

Syngenta sharpens biologicals focus with launch of first biologicals service center for seed treatment.

Basel / Switzerland, 16 October 2023 – Syngenta Seedcare is strengthening its focus on biologicals and extending its leadership in seed treatment with the opening of its first biologicals service center at The Seedcare Institute in Maintal, Germany.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, the center addresses growing farmer demand across the EU for biological seed treatment solutions providing best-in-class service and application support for its customers. Syngenta Seedcare currently operates 18 Seedcare Institutes with more than 120 experts globally. Additional biological service centres are set to be added to more Seedcare Institutes in future.

Biological seed treatment solutions ensure healthy crop establishment, by safeguarding plants from pests and improving their ability to access available nutrients – right from the beginning of life. Only tiny amounts are necessary to coat the seed, helping increase soil health and protecting biodiversity and the environment. However, the incorporation of living organisms can present new challenges to developing biological seed treatment solutions, which will need to take into account factors such as biological compatibility and on-seed survivability.

“Our leadership in biological innovation and seed treatment is built on our ability to constantly enhance and adapt our service offers,” said Jonathan Brown, Global Head Seedcare. “This new biologicals service centre enables the successful use of biologicals as seed-applied solutions through shared practical knowledge and resources. As the industry collaborator of choice, we look forward to launching new solutions together with our partners.”

Syngenta Seedcare offers a broad portfolio of biological seed treatment solutions, comprising the EPIVIO™ range of biostimulants for healthy crop establishment; ATUVA™ to promote nutrient use efficiency for soybean and legume crops, and NUELLO™ biofertilizers that leverage nitrogen fixation and promote soil health.

The biologicals service center in Maintal offers specialized expertise to support the application of new biological seed treatments. These include extensive competence in microbiology – from understanding the viability on-seed and in-mixture with other active ingredients, the ability to develop assays for all microbial products, to expertise on the handling of sensitive biologicals throughout the process. It will also provide value-adding services, including advisory on water quality and recipe compatibility, on-seed survivability measurement, guidelines for storage, handling and cleaning, and specialized training on proper stewardship of biologicals.

Syngenta Biologicals

Biologicals are at the forefront of innovation and a key element of the current shift in Europe from conventional to regenerative agricultural practices.

Matt Pickard, Head Europe Biologicals & Seedcare, and Jérôme Cassayre, Head Biologicals Research, took part, together with more than 100 attendees, in the Syngenta’s “Agcelerating innovation” event in Brussels to delve into the opportunities and challenges in Europe and create a more effective synergy with farmers, advisors, and policymakers to speed up the approval for the use of Biological solutions, to respond to the market demand for more innovations. Through the series of interactive talks and a panel discussion, the audience had the chance to know more about the Agcelerators, precision and digital agriculture, biologicals and seedcare, Syngenta’s sustainability priorities, and also listen to the direct experience of a local farmer.

These discussions are extremely important as our industry is balancing the need to regulate new technologies with high scientific rigor as we bring science-based innovation to offer more choices and flexibility to farmers, equipping them with an expanded toolbox that includes biologicals, including seed treatment, and digital tools, responding to their needs and keeping up with the current industry trends.

Tracy Høeg, MD, PhD @TracyBethHoeg

At a pivotal moment, just 9 days after the
@CDC gov recommended the covid vax for adolescents, in May of 2021,
@CDC gov decided NOT to send an already-written alert about the risks of post-mRNA vax myocarditis. Sending it might have changed the entire globe's vaccination strategy, particularly for adolescents & young adults. Many vaccine injuries could have been avoided, even deaths.

As
@ZackStieber & I describe in the article, CDC had plenty of evidence at this point to know the signal was real & had even been fatal.

They chose to hide it.

The CDC prioritized drug manufacturers over Americans' rights to informed consent. They recommended not just 1 but 2 doses of mRNA vaccine for healthy adolescents & young adults, even after they had had Covid- just why? They chose to turn a blind eye and take unnecessary risks with the hearts and lives of young people.

This email is an important find by
@ZackStieber
& is further evidence the CDC is a corrupt agency that we are paying to prioritize the pharmaceutical industry over the health of American people.

Why ESG.

The only reason carbon is such an issue for bloodless European colonialists is that they don’t produce any anymore. So, everyone else must suffer.

ha ha ha ha - "so patently obviously highly intelligent and knowledgeable".

Do you really have this high of an opinion on yourself?!

Has it actually occurred to you, the largest shareholder who ever they are, might be so awesomely wealthy, the few million they have dropped on Eden is rather insignificant to them in the grand scheme of things.

I have no doubt sunflower seeds are in the pipeline, (very possibly other seeds as well) but so far even the mighty Corteva has not managed to speed up the approval of Ecovelux. (At least not yet).

Based on the approximate timeline they posted at the launch, I believe this November is the earliest in that range window.

Of course, I hope it’s earlier!

Kitty,

You could well be right about the timing but the 'dearth' of product has to be considered and the number of partners involved who can either influence regulatory pace as well as not have a dog in the old fight lobbying for an extension of an incumbent product (as in the case of Korit). These factors in my opinion will contribute positively to the pace of approval and product application in the field particularly in the USA..assuming there is a USA by then.

I do not expect Insecticide sales in 2024 and I reckon you’ll be lucky to see them before the end of 2025.

I know you’ll challenge the point that the active ingredients are the same and already approved and should take less time….feel free to bookmark this post and ridicule me if I’m wrong!

Investing,

What makes you think that when Smith says Eden is working "very actively with them (Corteva) and another partner on the development of seed treatments" (17245) that he is referring to the insecticide?

Abrey commenting on the Insecticide @30 Nov 2023 gives me the impression that they are talking to multiple partners plural not the singular 'partner' mentioned by Smith in the above quote so I'm considering the second seed treatment partner he mentions likely be a different product from that mentioned by Abrey..

Also notable..during this presentation Smith reminds us of the Major players in this market BASF / Bayer / Syngenta ..make of that what you wish.. inference or market information ..

"we would then move into commercial negotiations with those
potential partners and we would look to do distribution agreements with um some
or maybe one or all of those potential partners and it could could be
that it's a global deal it could be Regional or even country by country
it remains to be seen and it depends on the business cases that are put forward
to us but this one we're really excited about it's a big opportunity" (Abrey)
