@DevonWood

Do you - or anyone else - know whether such a massive number of shares would not be traded in a different way (eg privately) to avoid destabilising the company? I'm not invested (yet), but I'd want some kind of transparency about Woodford's holdings before buying in; and surely there are legal constraints about dumping such a massive holding at the expense of the company in question?

Woodford owned 25%.approx 95 million shares.
Say he had to sell 10% of his holding that's 9.5million. The volume is big today, less yesterday but nowhere near 9.5. Some big blocks sold.
IC has a hold at 100 recommendation from March.
Bargain or falling knife?

Debt may be a concern here, besides the Woodford sales.

Woodford stated in his " apology " ....selling holdings in " unlisted and illiquid stocks " down to zero

Presumeably this includes ESL

Well he might not sell all his stocks but who knows which and when that is the big black cloud hanging over all his stocks at moment

On the FTSE 250, shares in Woodford Patient Capital (WPCT) continued to slide, down 4.7% at 63p, amid investor fears over the impact of the suspension on Woodford's investment trust.

Shares in stocks held by the manager also littered the bottom of the 'mid-cap' index, as investors priced in selling pressure with the manager needing to generate cash to fund redemptions from his suspended fund.

Five of the 10 biggest fallers on the FTSE 250 were stocks held by the manager, with a sixth his own investment trust. They were:
◾IP Group (IPO) -4.7% at 74.4p;
◾Kier (KIE) -3.8% at 148p;
◾New River Reit (NRRT) -3.4% at 197.6p;
◾Provident Financial (PFG) -3.1% at 501.6p;
◾Countryside Properties (CSPC) -2.7% at 293.6p.

It was a similar story on the FTSE Small Cap index, with Allied Minds (ALML) down 6.2% at 73p, Raven Propety (RAV) 3.5% lower at 39.1p and AA (AAAA) falling 3% to 52p.

On the Alternative Investment Market, Eddie Stobart Logistics (ESLE) was down 3.2% at 76.5p, Horizon Discovery (HZDH) dropped 2% to 155.9p and Burford Capital (BURF) dropped 1.5% to £14.79

I understand Woodford is selling down to " zero "

I would imagine therefore further falls , through until holding down to zero

Quick recovery thereafter though , after market overhang is cleared

Upwards trajectory subsequent and on the back of good numbers end of June

Woodford aside :

Raised 12 months ago with institutions @ 140p

Good growth both organic / acquisitional

High(ish) debt but manageable

End of June for update - Should be very positive

Bargain methinks - Or am i missing something ???

Well having been watching these for some time, I entered the fray today at 81.1p and so will be yielding nearly 8%.

Not sure why the near 20% drop over the last couple of weeks. Results and outlook look good. Little business to be affected going across the channel. Getting good quality contract wins. RSI completely bombed out. Chart is the only awful bit that I can see but has to turn at some time.

All I can say is GLA.

Typical MM / ADVFN nonsense . Of the 700k ish traded today , it suggests the bulk were sales !!!

585,000 were definitely purchases

There been some heavy selling recently, despite very upbeat RNS's - does anyone have any idea of what's happening as obviously no support on the chart. Wondering if this is heavily related to Brexit uncertainties?

Just bought into this stock, been on my watch list for some time. I was concerned for a while at the size of the Home Base contract, but that seems to have settled down for now. Hard to catch the bottom, bit of falling Knife at the moment. Posting of Annual Report and Accounts was end of April last year.

Does anyone know when the next trading update is from ESL? I'm guessing that it should be around now.

Their investor relations in very poor.

FD sells 50,000 shares - not ideal at all.....
was pretty sure would have been a buy at this price , i guess not.....
doesn't say how many shares he still has but can't see anything positive in that
are they not bound to say what % of his personal shareholding that is ?
maybe that's them all ?!?!
