    Beberibe Wind Farm in Cear, Brazil, Enters Commercial Operations 

    Econergy International PLC ("Econergy International" or "the Company"), a renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused primarily
on the Americas, is pleased to announce that on 12 September, 2008 its 25.6MW Beberibe Wind Farm began commercial operations, selling
electricity to Eletrobr, Brazil's national utility, under a 20-year power purchase agreement.  As announced on September 10, the Wind Farm
is located along the coast of Brazil's northeastern State of Cear, consists of thirty-two 800 kW wind turbines, and was formally inaugurated
September 11 in the presence of local government officials, business and community leaders.
