thenorseman2, they have LWD (Logging While Drilling) so there should only be a single wireline run at the end, once they get to TD.

They will load up all the tools they want and do a single wireline run at the end. They may also, if desired and needed, do some fluid sampling or a mini-DST if they have found net pay.

They would have been logging each section before setting the casing. Now probably logging the last section (where no casing is to be set anyway) after.The last section is probably secondary targets below Gazania so by now they should know already if there is pay in both Namaqualand and Gazania. No announcement yet could mean anything. Maybe they are still trying to understand better with the new data to decide what to do. They really are running a tight ship.Thats my take on it anyway. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Todays price action will be confused........we might see profit taking, we might see day traders in and out, we might see people getting out ahead of the weekend, and some people getting in before the weekend.

So the direction of the share price could be all over the place.

The only definitive would be if we see big volume today and movement. If we get say 8 million plus volume......then it might point to something.

Yesterday was day 25........based on 9th October spud........so yes, they should be close to TD or starting to run wireline logging around now.

Maybe they are commencing wireline, and so the flurry of activity by the support ships now calms down...........who knows.....not me.

In the event it opens weak, don't assume it's to do with the drilling. This may weigh on the shares and give market an opportunity to shake a few out. With regards to market sentiment for oil and gas......

China is now moving very rapidly to a change, where economic matters will rise above Covid Zero.

As this point in time approaches so things will become much more positive on the oil and gas front. Its coming..........soon.

Brent nicely up at 96 USD a barrel. Would be a lovely time to announce a major oil disovery, fingers crossed...............
