08/11/2011 08:21 | Could there be a hostile bid ??? Still value for shareholders ??? | ![]() double6
07/11/2011 19:37 | Last one out turn the lights off. Many other Estate agents in trouble, all trying to sell their businesses to bigger fish. Not enough business to go around due to the financial meltdown. | ![]() ny boy
07/11/2011 19:29 | Okay SGP can't make another bid until early next year. Is it over ?? Many may say so. However, the fat lady isn't singing yet .... "Minimal value" ... does that mean there could be 15% of Friday's MC in value (being the current MC).... or 5% .... or 25% ??? No doubt will see a turbulent day again tomorrow. However, once the A trades are out of the way..... | ![]() double6
07/11/2011 18:02 | I think that was when the prize was 22/23p,obviously a lot has changed since then. | duncandisorderly
07/11/2011 17:08 | DTZ's net debt is £64m and it is understood takeover approaches are valued at around this amount. DTZ has a string of repayments on its £106m of borrowings due in 2012 and 2013, and Royal Bank of Scotland is thought to have hired Ernst & Young to review the business. The property agent was forced to make the statement because Takeover Panel rules state a company must publicly declare when takeover approaches are below its enterprise value – the value of net debt and equity. | ![]() p o n a
07/11/2011 16:28 | I'd bet the next news is 'takeover agreed, no value realised for ordinary shareholders' followed by a delisting date. I suspect there's still a bit of money to be made shorting these, even from here. When the next news is announced the price will most likely drop into the sub 1p range, then below 0.5p in the run up to the takeover / delisting being completed. | ![]() bozzy_s
07/11/2011 16:22 | surprised this hasn't been suspended... what price the "pending financial clarification" RNS comes next.. | still waiting
07/11/2011 15:55 | NAV £43m of which £133m are intangible. Do the math and don't touch loss-making companies with negative net tangible asset value! No wonder there's no residual value left for shareholders. That said, there could be a technical dead-cat bounce as I imagine shorters have piled in on the 'shareholders will get nothing' news. | ![]() bozzy_s
07/11/2011 14:42 | 1m buy gone through | ![]() falia
07/11/2011 14:36 | why would anyone pay 10p/share when the actual company value is zero? | shugsy
07/11/2011 11:32 | This leaves Sgp to make a generous offer of 10p....i'm in here | ![]() welshwiz
07/11/2011 10:17 | WITH NO VALUE reported this still looks way overvalued.. | still waiting
07/11/2011 10:09 | There I was asking my bro to take a look last week as it looked cheap! wow! | ![]() dennisbergkamp
07/11/2011 09:40 | I thought DTZ were a massive company. just shows you.. | still waiting
07/11/2011 09:30 | Dont you mean DiTZ up ? ;-) | ![]() p o n a
27/10/2011 22:22 | With the Eurozone meltdown averted, DTZ could be a target once more of it's original bidder. | ![]() p o n a
19/10/2011 21:23 | Quite impressive to announce takeover talks and then finish down on the day, but then swans can apparently be black and neutrinos travel faster than the speed of light so its nothing really! | ![]() scburbs
19/10/2011 19:42 | Loss-making DTZ - which lost its chief executive and finance officer during the summer - is also considering "other strategic options" to secure growth and funding for future investment. However, a sale looks inevitable as the property sector's wave of consolidation continues. | day o |
