21/4/2023 17:34 | I can imagine finding a valuation for both companies after the split will be difficult. As with the other hydrogen / fuel cell companies I am buying the future as sales do not come close to valuation at present ! One day !. This is taken from a recent PM - RNS so it looks like GKN Hydrogen are doing fine .... More orders than many Quote; Taking into account previous orders, GKN Hydrogen has now ordered 46 "HyModule® S8" hydrogen fuel cell systems in total from Proton Motor. While there can be no certainty, the Board of Proton Motor expects to receive further orders as GKN Hydrogen continues to integrate the Company's technology in its "HY2" energy systems. | tenapen
21/4/2023 16:47 | tenapen - will look. As it stands, I'm finding it too hard to value, but I've seen the hydrogen subsidiaries. | jonwig
21/4/2023 15:42 | Thanks for starting this thread jonwig. Not wishing to promote another company, but would it be good information to add Proton Motor in the header ?. GKN Hydrogen buy thier fuel cells from PM. Information for anyone wanting to hedge. No problems if you decide Not. | tenapen
21/4/2023 12:20 | It's hard work figuring out what the accounts mean. Their auditors say: This Carve-out Historical Financial Information may not be indicative of the Group’s financial performance and does not necessarily reflect what its results of operations, financial position and cash flows would have been had the Group operated as an independent group during the periods presented And the balance sheet as presented is pretty poor. The statement At 31 December 2022, the Group was owed more than £650 million by non-Group entities owned by the Ultimate Parent, is odd, in that I can't find the relevant asset in the balance sheet. | jonwig
21/4/2023 09:53 | Looking forward to the ride. Already up 10% or more since the shackles were removed and Dowlais became a free(ish) entity. | yertiz

11/9/2008 11:43 | Chairman Martin Varley who is the largest shareholder in this small company continues even in these difficult times to buy 100000 shares at 171/2p He can only hold another 700,000 IN HIS OWN NAME before having to make a bid for the whole company.INTERESTING? | martest
03/6/2008 18:29 | Chairman buys nearly1m shares and holds 26% of co.Something good afoot or maybe trying to buy the company on the cheap.Maybe 4 imprint been sniffing around? | martest
07/5/2008 16:36 | there must be something decent afoot then for the share price to rise 24%.MMs are trying to find some shares from somewhere as there are no loose floaters. | martest
30/4/2008 00:27 | been following this share for a while - but never bought as I am always concerned when directors buy small amounts of shares to "look good" when they already hold large chunks - such as the two directors Willis + Varley. To me that just trying to ramp up the share price. Think the share price is telling us how the company is doing! | handsome

28/11/2005 11:29 | Good to see a post on this Placing.I have a sizeable holding which I bought on first day dealings. This is one for the medium term, 2 - 3 years. There is a strong management team in place formerly involved in the development of 4imprint the board are very focused and are seeking to build turnover to £100m over the next 3 years or so by acquisition and organic growth. The market is still fragmented with a number of small players that can be consolidated. The company has a sound client list of FTSE and SME co's. The shares came to the market at 36p about 9.5x 2006 earnings the market average is between 14 - 15x. earnings for their peers. There were no sales of shares by the directors in the placing the £4.5m raised was new money to finance growth of the business by acquisition and organic growth.Have high expectations of substantial gains on this one. | a0148009
