The evidence shows that ditching your broker really doesnt help, Dan have released many positive notes on DMG their research is very thorough and more informed than most research ive seen from most of the top line brokers.
After all Merryl only 2 weeks ago `forecast` a decline in UK house prices and a downgrade in home building stocks and that is AFTER an 80% fall in the sector.( now THAT is SH+T analysis.)
We are in a bear market , sit tight and wait it out.

Have you read that statement - more succes. If Lalola takes off in the US, it will be sold on to the UK , Canada Aus etc (Ugly Betty?).

I wish they'd ditch their broker and get a comany that knows how to market to those shareholders who don't meet for lunch in Tel Aviv.

Yet more market madness! Do investors actually believe that people are going to stop watching television because they are feeling less wealthy? Surely quite the opposite - telenovelas are exactly the type of soap opera escapism that becomes more popular in times of hardship...

It really does seem as though many PIs have the attention span of a goldfish these days (:

Not holding here, and the downtrend continues.

Given the statement about wanting to raise equity, via bonds or whatever, obviously they are perhaps struggling to get the money, and therefore, this is why the price is collapsing downwards.

Worrying times for holders...how will they raise the money, and more so, at what price ??????????

Relax Silver, Trying to offload ANY amount of stock in these market times results in them getting bottom price especially in second liners. (That is what has hit the SP)
I believe that the stock market is heading for some big falls and no-one wants to buy anything at the moment.
Patience will pay.

what is happening here- 5k share traded and its falls like a stone. But business is booming. They really should sack their broker and get a company that understands their business.

Compelling contract win

Dori Media has announced an agreement with Televisa, the world's largest Spanish language media company.

This is strategically compelling deal that underpins our FY08E and FY09E forecasts.

While Televisa acts as a competitor to Dori Media in the production and distribution of telenovelas, its new agreement with Dori Media highlights the strength of Dori's position in the telenovela market with Televisa choosing to act as partner rather than just competitor.

With regards the value of the agreement, Dori is scheduled to receive revenues of $7.2m ($3.45m short-term, $3.75m spread over next five years), with a further option that could augment the value of the deal to $9.5m.

We estimate that this contract alone could represent >15% of forecast licensing revenue in our FY08E estimates.

The contract, therefore, substantially underpins our licensing revenue forecasts in FY08E (group forecast revenue $61.0m) and, with limited additional costs, should make a strong contribution to our forecast group EBITDA of $21.1m.

With unchanged forecasts, the group is trading at just 7.3x FY08E EPS (5.9x FY09E) and 3.6x EV/EBITDA (2.1x FY09E).

With today's financially and strategically compelling deal likely to be supplemented by further contract wins relating to the recent MIPTV event in Cannes, we firmly reiterate our Buy recommendation and 343p price target (13x FY09E target multiple).

just a bit more news: BUENOS AIRES, April 5: Dori Media Group has inked a three-year deal with Illusion Studios to begin developing fiction programs that incorporate animated technology, kicking off with two family-oriented telenovelas: Violeta and The Wizardess of Oz.

At MIPTV, Dori Media Group and Illusion Studios will present Violeta, in which the main character of the telenovela will share her life with a cartoon character. The company is also working on The Wizardess of Oz, an updated version of Frank L. Baum's classic novel, The Wizard of Oz.

Dori Media shares have trended down slightly since the annual results announcement in February. Next month will see one of the important TV trade
exhibitions, MIPTV in Cannes (7-11 April). We understand DMG will be showcasing its successful telenovela Lalola in particular. DMG usually
announces deals concluded shortly after the show so we are hoping for short term positive newsflow.
